Our aim at Wagging Tail Resort is to nurture the physical as well as emotional needs of our guests.

Pet lovers understand how difficult it can be to leave beloved companions at a typical kennel. Separation from their best friends can be depressing for pets and owners alike. The sleeping accommodations and exercise/play areas at Wagging Tail Resort were designed with your pet in mind. Our temperature controlled sleeping accommodations provide a safe-haven for each of our guests. Available sound l

imiting suites, daytime movies, and soothing background music in the evening make for a stress-free ambiance.

Resort Holiday Schedule

December 24th: Resort closes at 1pm. We are open for boarding check ins and outs from 10a-1pm. Grooming is by appointment and there is NO KINDERDOGEN OR DAYCARE TODAY.

December 25th: Merry Christmas! The Resort is closed in all departments, but our dedicated team will be taking great care of our boarding guests, of course!

December 26th: The Resort is closed until 1pm today. Our lobby opens at 2pm for boarding check-ins and outs. Grooming is by appointment. There is NO KINDERDOGEN OR DAYCARE TODAY!

December 31st: Resort closes at 1pm. We are open for boarding check ins and outs from 10a-1pm. Grooming is by appointment and there is NO KINDERDOGEN OR DAYCARE TODAY.

January 1st: Happy New Year! The Resort is closed in all departments, but our dedicated team will be taking great care of our boarding guests, of course!

It’s the season of giving and our pet parents and guests continue to spoil us! Thank you to Maverick for the yummy treats, those muffins were huge and to Beau for the homemade cookies, they were very tasty! ***Daycare closure Reminder***

The daycare department will be closed tomorrow 10 December 2024 to allow our team time to attend our yearly employee appreciation day/Christmas party. Thank you

***Daycare Closures*** Unfortunately we have reached that time of year where we have some cold spells. In accordance with our cold temperature safety policy we are needing to close Daycare and KinderDOGen for THURSDAY and FRIDAY of this week. Those of you with grooming/bathing appointments are welcome to keep those appointments. Please just call our front desk and chat with one of our wonderful receptionists and they will help set up a drop off time.

***Our KinderDOGen students will just make up their Friday class at then end of our 6 weeks, so graduation will essentially be pushed back at least a day.

***Attention Daycare pet parents*** we will not be open for Daycare tomorrow, Tuesday, due to our temperature guidelines (needing to be 35° by 10 AM) not being met. It will be too chilly tomorrow to safely have everyone out playing. We will take this a day at a time. We plan to be open the rest of the week so long as temperature safety guidelines are met!

One of our caring clients took this kiddo in believing he had a home that he had gotten lost from. Nobody has come forward, it has been 3 weeks, and every shelter/rescue is overflowing, as is so often the sad state of affairs in this area. Everyone is trying to do their best and all shelter and rescue staff/volunteers are completely buried. Multiple rescues have offered to step up to help if there is a foster placement available. We know nothing about this dog, but we can forward any messages to his finder if anyone is looking for a new addition or is willing to be a foster home for one of the rescue groups that have stepped up to offer help.

Ever unsure of what to do with a giant leaf pile?! Our Daycare and KinderDOGen students have so much fun with one of our favorite Fall enrichment activities! The dogs love to dig and play in the leaves. We hide treats and toys in the pile and there are TONS of natural smells and textures for them to enjoy interacting with. We have lots of entertaining leaf play videos to share with you in the days to come! Enjoy!!
