Antonia's Paw Spa & Retreat is proud to present Handy Dandy's DIY Dog Wash! We have been THROUGH it trying to get this new service up and running, so we are very excited to say that we are ready to start taking reservations!
We are so thrilled to be able to offer this highly requested service for Jackson and surrounding areas!

Yesterday, Antonia's Paw Spa & Retreat celebrated 12 AMAZING years of business! We opened our doors officially on June 8th, 2012 as a small grooming shop. Because of our incredible clients and their fur-babies we have grown into the place that we are today! I want to say THANK YOU to everybody that has contributed to our growth and success over the last 12 years. My staff, clients, family and friends have all made it possible. It hasn't always been easy, but it has always been worth it! Here's looking forward to MANY MORE YEARS serving Jackson, Madison County and surrounding areas. God Bless!

Congratulations to our June TOP DOG!!
Put your paws up for Buddy M! He just celebrated his 5th birthday last month, but he is truly such an old soul. Buddy is so gentle and loving. He gives the sweetest hugs and kisses. He really enjoys arts and crafts because it means extra treats and something special to bring home to mom. Buddy is just a very good boy who has excellent manners and a huge heart with lots of love to share.

In observance of Memorial Day, our lobby is closed today, Monday, May 27, 2024. We will resume regular hours tomorrow at 7:30am! Our staff is hard at work tending to our Boarding guests. Congratulations to our May TOP DOG!!
This handsome, spotty fella is Fred! He is a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP), which are known for their intelligence and drive. Fred has been a regular in daycare for about 5 months now, and we have quickly grown to adore his loveable personality. When he gets really excited, Fred does tippy-tappies with his paws. He loves to play ball, and he will do just about anything for a treat!

APRIL FOOLS! We have TWO top dogs this month!

These precious pups are Remy and Francine. It's nearly impossible for us to think of one without the other, so they are collectively called RemandFran more often than they're referred to individually.
We joke that they're husband and wife, as they certainly act like an old married couple. They fell in love and now have 3 adorable babies, 1 of which they still get to have playdates with regularly. Their preferred room is right in the middle of all the action, so they've made quite an impression on employees and clients alike over the years.

Francine is all bark and Remy is all bite, so they're a match made in heaven. We look forward to seeing these sour patch kids (sour AND sweet) everyday. They have been a staple part of the shop for 5+ years, and we absolutely adore their goofy personalities.

Happy Sunday! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! I just wanted ro update on the ststus of the opening of our Handy Dandy's DIY Dog Wash! We have encountered some delays due to insurance approvals and some other minor personal time issues but we have acquired all of the materials to replace the floors and repair the sheet rock and baseboards. As we are about to go into Spring Break peak Boarding season, reconstruction will be delayed a bit longer unfortunately. We are aiming for end of March or beginning of April. We sincerely apologize for the delay, but it will be open soon!!¡ Thank you for your patience!

Join us in congratulating our March Top Dog, Lou Lou!!
Lou Lou has only been doing daycare with us since October, but she very quickly became a fan favorite around here. It took her approximately 15 minutes to decide that she LOVED it here (around the same time we offered her first frozen treat). If any of our staff needs a puppy hug, Lou Lou is one of their first choices.
She is so trusting and loving despite the unknown trauma she endured before being rescued by a fantastic family with 2 new four-legged brothers. She is so much fun to have around, and we've loved watching her grow and seeing her personality come out as she's become more comfortable. Congrats, Lou!
