Edjer vd Südgable (Ava x Kuno) is now 10 months old and just shy of 75 lbs. He is going to be a power house of a dog with plenty of inherited talent and good looks to boot.

Daisy vd Südgable is a pup from our “D” litter last summer that was always my favorite. She is owned by the wonderful Farmer family that live just on the other side of town. They allowed me to take their loving pup from them and train and test her this year. Daisy received a 65 in her VJP back in the March then went back home for the summer. I got her back in August and started getting her ready for the fall test. Over just a few short weeks Daisy was excelling is all subjects, especially in the water. Last weekend was our scheduled HZP test and I was more confident than I ever have been with a dog I’ve trained. Unfortunately Daisy had a disagreement with her rabbit and knocked us out of the test. Luckily I was able to find a test to run her in this past Saturday up in IL. The day was nerve-racking to say the least but we made it through the day. Daisy scored a very respectable 175 and I couldn’t be more happy with her. Thanks to all friends that helped me with training this summer. Couldn’t of made it happen without you.

We had a big time a couple weekends back at our Southeast Hunters Chapter meeting. Cody Collins with Diva v.d. Südgable (Maggie Mae) scored 63 pts. in fridays VJP. Mark Jack with Bayley v.d. Südgable (Hazel) ran in the breedshow and received a 10/7 for form&hair making her the first pup to be breed eligible for our kennel. All 3 of the “E” litter pups were in attendance as well and had a large time socializing with everyone. It was great getting to see some old friends and make some new ones. The entire weekend was a blast for everyone there!

The boys of the “E” litter have made it to their forever home! Edjer will join his father Kuno vom Briermeister in the home of Robert Adams. Eagan aka Cane) will reside in South Carolina with his owner Eric Wilson.

It has been a very long and hot summer of training with both my pups getting them ready for the fall breed test known as the HZP. We had a few small hiccups but both were able to pass.

Bayley v.d. Südgable ( Hazel) knocked it out of the park today at her HZP scoring a 190. Huge congrats to her owner Mark! He put so much time and hard work in on training with Hazel and it showed today! Thank you.

Dove opener was Hot🔥 in more ways then one! Sprig, Ava, and Meg all worked their butt off and impressed many guys that needed help finding down birds in the weeds. The last bird for my dad to finish his limit was caring a little piece of jewelry!

Never pass up a cool front with a little wind to get the pups in on some bird work and venture into the Southfork swamp for some duck searches without getting eaten alive by the bugs. HZP is just around the corner for Meg vom Briermeister and Buck vd Südgable “Sprig”.

The remainder of the “D” litter pups are now in their forever homes. They are scattered across the South and even one found it’s new home all the way in northern New York. They all have a very bright future and I can’t wait to watch and help out with them in the future.
A very large Thank You! to Robert Adams and Debbie Adams for their support and commitments, as well as their boy Kuno vom Briermeister for producing such a nice litter.
