We recently had a Wonderful Vintage Christmas at Hub City Brewing! Thank you to Alexandria Chaney for all the really cool vintage decorations that made our party festive! We had delicious food from Jackson's Kitchen + Catering, prizes, mingling, and lots of great games to play at Hub City.

We are so thankful to everyone who came to our Business After Hours with the Greater Jackson Chamber last week. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 60th Anniversary with a Christmas theme. We had delicious food, including scrumptious macarons from Sprinkle Me Sugar, great giveaways and most importantly, incredible people that dropped by! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

TLM was happy to participate in the beam signing for the new City of Jackson Senior Activity Center. City of Jackson, TN - Government Mayor Scott Conger, members of the City of Jackson, TN Commission on Aging, and Jackson, TN Parks and Rec were on hand, as well as Cary Henson of Henson Construction. TLM Architect Rachel Allen also signed the beam. It's looking great! We can't wait to see the finished product!

Congratulations to Chickasaw State Forest on its groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for a new forestry work center! We are proud to be the architectural designers and civil and structural engineers for this facility. It will be the headquarters for all forest management operations at Chickasaw, as well as provide landowner assistance programs, vendor services, and wildland fire operations in the area. It will house administrative offices, serve as wildland firefighting equipment storage facilities, and provide a space for community engagement.

We are happy to work with State of Tennessee Departments such as STREAM and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture Divison of Forestry, and enjoy partnering with Barham/Cain/Mynatt, Construction Materials Laboratory, DePouw Engineering, Hub City Blueprint, and Surveying Services, Inc. Corinne Gould, Assistant Commissioner for Public Affairs, Heather Slayton, State Forester and Assistant Commissioner for Forestry, State Representative Johnny Shaw and Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse were some of the officials on hand, plus we had a special surprise guest, Smokey Bear!

Congratulations to Humboldt High School on the Grand Opening of its new Cosmetology/Barber classroom in the CTE Department. We were so happy to help transform this area into a new learning space.

Congratulations to Haywood County Head Start on its ribbon cutting for a new building to educate 3-4 year-olds. This beautiful, spacious facility has almost 17,000 S.F., allowing room for additional classrooms, and includes a large, fenced playground. We were happy to provide architectural, civil, interiors, and structural.

Halloween at TLM included our Costume Contest and Breakfast Potluck! Thank you to all our employees who participated and brought food. A special thank you to our judges – Julie Cooke, Newstalk 101.5; Tyler Carr, City of Jackson; Faith Orr and Chelsea Edwards of Frontline Creative; and Regetta Nelson, Madison County Government.
‘Frankenstein and Frankenstein’s Monster’: Mark Maddox and Mark Hare, claimed First Place and People’s Choice awards, while second place went to ‘The Secret Lives of Randy McKinnon’: Equestrian Randy (2003): Lauren Whitaker, President Randy (2013) – Michele Winslow, Biker Randy (2014) – Madi Hicks, Cyclist Randy (2017) – Josie Keel, Corvette Randy (2018) – Stephanie Barbrey, Drag Racing Randy (2024) – Kennedi Rushing, and Vacation Randy (2020) ‘Who’s not here because he’s gone to the beach! Dom Steward ran away with the Honorable Mention for his ‘Murderous Runner’ costume, while other participants included ‘Woody from Toy Story’ - Maria Rogers, and the ‘Wicked Witch’ – Olivia Hall. Great job by all!
