Look at these puuuuuurfect cats! The cats in this album are currently in our program and are available for adoption!

The first step to meet one of these cuties is to set up a meet and greet by completing our online application. Please visit our website or Facebook to check out all of our adoptable cats! Once we receive your application we can move forward with scheduling a meet and greet. Your application will be valid for all cats moving forward.

For the safety of our staff, animals and community, there is a two person limit for in-peron meet and greets. We require all individuals to wear a mask and sanitize before entering the AAC. We can also accommodate a virtual meet and greet if requested.

Cat adoption fee is $100. If you're looking to adopt two cats you get the second one for free! Your adoption fee covers the spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations up to date! Cat adoption is considered final on the day you take them home, however; the AAC recognizes that an adjustment period of days or weeks may be necessary before they are fully comfortable in their new home. The AAC grants a two week trial period with cat adoptions to ensure that a good match is made. If a cat is returned within the two week trial we will refund the adoption fee.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our cats as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the cats are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

Honey

Female, 5 years old, DSH

Meet Honey! Honey is a 5-year-old bundle of sunshine who truly lives up to her name! She’s always the first to greet you at the door, ready for pets and purrs, and she gets along wonderfully with all her Kitty City friends. With her gentle nature and loving heart, Honey is as warm and welcoming as they come. If you’re looking for a cat who will make you feel loved every single day, Honey is your girl!

-For more info on this pet, to fill out an adoption application, and find out who we are and more our adoption process, please go to our website www.animaladoptioncenter.org
-Adoption is considered final upon bringing your cat home and signing an adoption agreement, however; when adopting a cat the AAC recognizes that an adjustment period of days or weeks may be necessary before it is fully comfortable in it’s new home. The AAC grants a two week trial period with cat adoptions to ensure that a good match is made. If a cat is returned within two weeks of adoption we will refund the adoption fee.
-We welcome out-of-area adopters, but please be aware we do require prospective adopters to come to our facility and meet the animal in person. Before you make the trip we encourage you to fill out an adoption application and submit it, to be sure you will qualify to adopt. Adoption applications can be filled out on our website. We cannot "hold" any animal. We have a "first qualified adopter can adopt" policy.
-We will not ship animals.
-Feel free to send over an inquiry or fill out an application for a cat you are interested in!

Rusty

Male, 1 year old, Cattle Dog mix

Meet Rusty! Rusty is about a year old and as sweet & friendly as they come. He’s a gentle, easygoing pup who’s still learning about the world! Once he warms up, he loves exploring new places and spending time with his people. Rusty would be happiest with someone who can help him feel secure and show him that adventures can be fun. He’s the perfect mix of curious and cuddly — ready to tag along on walks, hikes, or just hang out at home!

THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 [email protected]

Look at all those cute faces! The dogs in this album are currently in our program and available for adoption.

The first step in our adoption process is filling out a dog adoption application. Once submitted your application can be added to any dogs list of interested adopters. If you are the first qualified applicant in line you will be given the opportunity to meet the dog and take them home for a foster period, usually around four nights but our minimum is one! This gives you a chance to get to know the dog and decide if you want to adopt. If its not a good fit you can bring the dog back to us and we will move on in the list. Returning your foster dog doesn't disqualify you from meeting and fostering another dog! Our mission is to find these dogs the best home for them and sometimes that means staying with a few families before it's the right fit.

If one of the dogs in this album interests you please submit an application or email us - [email protected] - to let us know you already have an application submitted and would like your name on a particular dog's list.
You do not need to submit multiple applications, once your application is in it can be used for any dog you are interested in.

We can't wait to help you find a new best friend!
