With the help of our amazing community, the Animal Adoption Center has positively impacted the lives of over 29,000 animals since our inception in 2004. Old Bill’s plays a crucial role in our ability to reach the animals that need us most. Gifts of all sizes make bright futures possible for homeless animals! Please consider donating today to allow us to continue this life-saving work🐶🐾✨

Today we highlight the amazing adoptions of Nacho & Bruno! A few words from their phenomenal mom + dad:

“Our favorite things about Nacho are his underbite and his endless love towards us. Our favorite thing about Bruno is his mood changes - he can be intensely loving for two minutes but the next minute he just wants his space. He is such a goofball. Nacho & Bruno have given patience, understanding, and most of all unconditional love to our family. They brighten up our lives daily.” 🩵

Link in our bio to donate today through September 13th!

Simone Biles
~8 weeks old, Female, Small/Medium Mixed Breed

Introducing Simone Biles! Originally found with her mom and littermates on the Wind River Reservation at 2 weeks old, they then made their way to our wonderful partners over at Aska's Animals where they were able to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment as a family. While in their program, these puppies experienced incredible socialization and the utmost care putting these puppies ahead of the curve. Some notes on Simone from the behavior team include that this litter is more of the reserved side and would benefit greatly from a home that is willing to go slow and help build her confidence. She is more on the independent side and will gladly enjoy doing things on her own. Puppies need structure, enrichment, and love to thrive. Simone is on the right track to becoming an amazing pup, get your application in today to come meet her for yourself!

Lola
~1.5 years old, Female, Shepherd Mix

Meet Lola! She is a sweet and kind soul who was originally adopted out as a puppy through our program. Her previous owner could no longer care for her, it was heartbreaking for both sides of the party. Lola is an exceptional pup - her mom and littermates are spread throughout the valley - they were an incredible litter! Here are a few words about Lola from her amazing fosters "Meet Lola! She can be a bit shy at first, but once she knows you, you become her best friend forever! Lola loves to go on walks and greet every person she passes. She also loves to meet new dogs with whom she can play. She is very inquisitive and curious. She loves adventure and is a great traveler and will curl up and take a nap when on a long trip. Lola is learning to run alongside a bike. She is very well behaved in a home environment - doesn’t mind being left home alone and is fully house broken. She is such a sweet and gentle dog who is just waiting for her forever home! Please reach out if you’d like to learn more about this sweet girl."

Look at all those cute faces! The dogs in this album are currently in our program and available for adoption.

The first step in our adoption process is filling out a dog adoption application. Once submitted your application can be added to any dogs list of interested adopters. If you are the first qualified applicant in line you will be given the opportunity to meet the dog and take them home for a foster period, usually around four nights but our minimum is one! This gives you a chance to get to know the dog and decide if you want to adopt. If its not a good fit you can bring the dog back to us and we will move on in the list. Returning your foster dog doesn't disqualify you from meeting and fostering another dog! Our mission is to find these dogs the best home for them and sometimes that means staying with a few families before it's the right fit.

If one of the dogs in this album interests you please submit an application or email us - [email protected] - to let us know you already have an application submitted and would like your name on a particular dog's list.
You do not need to submit multiple applications, once your application is in it can be used for any dog you are interested in.

We can't wait to help you find a new best friend!

Dog Adoption Application Link: https://form.jotform.com/42994530730154

The dog adoption fee is $250. This fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, and up to date vaccines.

Two Employment Opportunities🐈🦮

We are seeking a full-time and a part-time, animal loving team members! Head on over to our website to see how to apply and read more info on these openings!

We are accepting applications for a Cat Care Specialist (part-time) and an Adoption Counselor (full-time). Both of these roles play a key part to our day to day operations!

Look at these puuuuuurfect cats! The cats in this album are currently in our program and are available for adoption!

The first step to meet one of these cuties is to set up a meet and greet by completing our online application. Please visit our website or Facebook to check out all of our adoptable cats! Once we receive your application we can move forward with scheduling a meet and greet. Your application will be valid for all cats moving forward.

For the safety of our staff, animals and community, there is a two person limit for in-peron meet and greets. We require all individuals to wear a mask and sanitize before entering the AAC. We can also accommodate a virtual meet and greet if requested.

https://form.jotform.com/43128656086157

Cat adoption fee is $100. If you're looking to adopt two cats you get the second one for free! Your adoption fee covers the spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations up to date! Cat adoption is considered final on the day you take them home, however; the AAC recognizes that an adjustment period of days or weeks may be necessary before they are fully comfortable in their new home. The AAC grants a two week trial period with cat adoptions to ensure that a good match is made. If a cat is returned within the two week trial we will refund the adoption fee.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our cats as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the cats are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

Opal
13 weeks old, Female, Mixed Breed

Welcome Opal! Opal and her siblings joined our program from the Rock Springs shelter on 7/23. They were born in a very small town outside of Rock Springs and were raised in a loving home alongside their mama until they were 8 weeks old. Their odds of successful adoption in the small town they were born in were very slim, so they were then moved to the Rock Springs shelter in hopes of a new location increasing their chances of finding homes! Rock Springs is sadly overwhelmed with an incredibly high volume of animals and so they reached out to us at the AAC about this adorable litter! We are thrilled to have welcomed them into our program and can't wait to get to know them more. So far we can tell that they are very friendly pups who are eager to be with people! They will require some extra love and care so that they can learn how to be the best dogs. They are very smart, but are starting their training journey a little later than other puppies and will need some extra help along the way!

Tiki
~6 month old, Female, ~30lbs, Boxer Mix

Welcome Tiki! She just joined us on a Dog Is My Copilot flight from Texas this weekend. She is just a little girl with a long body and tiny little legs! She loves her canine friends - they help her gain a ton of confidence and she would really benefit from living in a home with a doggie sibling or two. She can be pretty shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly once she has the chance to familiarize herself with her new surroundings! She will make a very loving companion for the right person! We can't wait for this girly to find her forever home.
