Rescue Revolution of MS is a 501(c)(3) non profit foster-based animal rescue organization. Our organization is out to start the Rescue Revolution!

Rescue Revolution of Mississippi is an animal rescue that was founded by a group of women with burdened hearts, who are devoted to giving hope to helpless animals within the different counties of MS. Whether there is hurt, abandonment, starvation, or bad home situations, we stand strong in delivering our promise to saving these afflicted animals. Hand in hand, paw to paw! Our ambition for these pets is to provide appropriate medical treatment, rehabilitation, and socialization to prepare them for a potential forever home. Rescue Revolution highly promotes the necessity of spaying and neutering all animals, to make a difference for the future of animals in Mississippi and beyond. Rescue Revolution could not function and serve our community of animals without our network of volunteers. Our nonprofit organization solely operates through donations of time, supplies, and money. We pledge to all of our supporters that we will always have the animals’ best interest at heart and will utilize all donated resources appropriately. Each contribution helps us make a difference, save a life, and give shelter to one more mistreated animal. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and accepted by our rescue. We are a foster-based non-profit animal rescue with no central shelter location. URGENT! FOSTERS NEEDED FOR THESE THREE ADORABLE PUPPIES & THEIR MOM! ALL FOOD & VET CARE ARE PROVIDED!

Look at these precious faces! We were contacted about these three 5 week old puppies & their sweet mom, who found shelter at an elderly couple's home in the country. The senior couple is not able to keep them any longer, so we need to find a foster for this little family. The puppies are weaned & can be separated. The momma dog is timid, but sweet & loving. She comes right up to the elderly couple, wagging her tail. She also gets along very well with their two other dogs. These sweet pups & momma desperately need a foster home for 4-6 wks so we can get them safe, vetted & adopted either locally or up north. We provide everything (food, vet care & supplies). 🔴 URGENT! FOSTERS & DONATIONS NEEDED FOR LITTER OF 8 GOLDEN RETRIEVER MIX PUPPIES RESCUED FROM HORRIBLE CONDITIONS TODAY! ONE OF THE PUPPIES IS INJURED & WILL NEED VET CARE. ANOTHER ONE OF THE PUPPIES IS SICK. PLEASE DONATE IF YOU CAN! 🔴

This morning we were alerted to a horrible situation involving a litter of 8, 8 week old, Golden Retriever mix puppies living in squalor. Their water bowl had rust & motor oil floating in it & the owner was feeding them spoiled raw meat & chicken. One of the puppies was injured, after it was placed on the trampoline by a child & fell off. The puppy's leg is injured & will be going to the vet tomorrow morning. Another one of the puppies is sick & needs immediate vet care as well. The owner will not surrender their mom, but agreed to get her spayed. These puppies were in a rural area where animal control is non-existent.

Luckily, thanks to Amber Austin & Terry Butler, we were able to get all 8 puppies to safety. They are currently all at one of our board member's homes. Fosters are desperately needed for these precious pups. They can be separated into groups of 2 or 3 per foster. All food, vet care & supplies are provided. Foster time is for 6-8 weeks maximum. They will be transported to New England if not adopted locally. If you are able to foster, please fill out the foster form at rrofms.org/foster or message our page.

We are going to need help from our supporters to vet these babies. Funds are needed for their 3 sets of shots, wormer, flea/tick meds, antibiotics, spay/neuter & food. This is in addition to the injured & sick puppy's vet care.

This sweet 8-10 week old stray female puppy was found wandering the streets today in this extreme heat. She’s a little timid & needs some TLC from a foster to bring her out of her shell. Many Americans love a patriotic Independence Day party filled with family, friends, food & loud fireworks. But to our pets, especially dogs, it can be traumatizing. Dogs have a keen sense of hearing & blasts from the fireworks can cause them to be stressed & disoriented.

This beautiful male Border Collie was found abandoned on a country road. No owner was ever located. This sweet boy needs a temporary foster home. All food & vet care will be provided. Poor pup fell off a trampoline & injured his leg.

UPDATE- FOSTER HOME FOUND! THANK YOU, BRANDI!♥️ IMMEDIATE FOSTER & DONATIONS NEEDED FOR PUPPY LOCKED IN STORAGE UNIT, RESCUED TODAY! Jackson, MS- We received a message this afternoon from a school teacher about a crying puppy sound that was coming from a storage facility near a school. One of our volunteers, Sherry, quickly rushed to the scene and met the teacher, Stephanie, there. They were able to locate the sound coming from one of the storage units. A blanket was sticking out of the unit and it was locked with a padlock. The ladies got the facility owner to open the unit. A 5 week old puppy was inside, no water or food. The puppy had been there awhile. The unit was rented by a homeless man who has been contacted. He does not want the puppy back and is nowhere to be found. The puppy appears to be anemic and dehydrated, but otherwise ok. A foster is needed for about 6 weeks.
