🎄🐾 A huge thank you to our incredible Camp Bow Wow Ridgeland friends for collecting donations for our rescue pups this holiday season! Not only did our pups have lots of goodies under the tree, but thanks to your generosity, we received enough monetary donations to pay off our vet bills and provide much-needed medical care for our longer-term fosters with ongoing health issues.🎉

We are absolutely amazed by the outpouring of support and are so grateful for this amazing gift for our rescue dogs. 🐶 This Giving Tuesday, Help Dogs Like Ziggy Find Hope 🐶

Ziggy’s story is one of survival, pain & resilience. For over a year, he lived a life of loneliness & suffering—chained up, hungry, thirsty & without the comfort of human touch. His world was limited to the harshness of his surroundings, enduring the pain of severe matting & untreated eye & ear infections.

When his owner was incarcerated, Ziggy was left behind, abandoned to continue his suffering alone. Days went by & no one came to help him—until we did.

When we rescued Ziggy, his eyes were dull from dehydration & his fur was so matted it hurt just to touch him. But despite everything he’d been through, he still wagged his tail & trusted that humans could show him kindness. His spirit was unbroken.

Today, thanks to generous supporters like YOU, Ziggy is thriving in a loving forever home. There are so many more dogs out there just like him—dogs who need us to be their voice, their lifeline & their hope for a brighter future.

Stanley & Sophia would like to remind everyone that kicks off at 7am CST tomorrow! Remember to donate as close to 7am as you can, to ensure your donation gets matched by Facebook. This year, we need your help in a big way.

In 2024, our little rescue has really struggled. With our northern rescue partners also now overloaded, we are not able to find local or northern placement for many of our dogs. Because of this, we have a huge monthly boarding expense on top of regular vet bills. Our biggest struggle is finding foster homes & sponsors to help the dogs we rescue.

This year, we would like to challenge everyone to donate at least $5 if you can. If enough of our followers do this, we will be able to keep the rescue open & continue to help animals in need.

SWEET STANLEY URGENTLY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!
PLEASE SHARE!

This precious, gentle boy has been waiting 3 years to find a forever family. He's so well behaved & loving, even with other dogs. Stanley & his sister were rescued a few years ago from a horrible situation. Both were starving & had a number of health issues. They're now healthy & ready for adoption. Stanley lived in a pen for 3 years, as it was the only option we had for him at the time. In September, we had to move him to a safer environment, out of the elements. Stanley's now in boarding at the vet & it's costing us $450 a month. We cannot continue to pay this much indefinitely. Our bank account is dwindling & we're running out of options.

Stanley wants so badly to have his own people to do life with. He would also love to have a canine companion that loves to do zoomies with him in the yard. He is approximately 4 years old, neutered, heartworm negative & fully vetted. Stanley walks well on leash & loves a car ride. He is gentle with kids & when taking treats from your hand.

If you're in the market for a canine hunk to make your family complete, Stanley's your guy! Please give him a chance. Foster needed for Junior, a 2 year old, 10 lb Chi we**ie!

This past weekend, our rescue team saved 11 Chi we**ies from a neglectful situation. 2 female momma dogs, eight 3-4 week old puppies & 1 adult male Chi we**ie were rescued. This adorable cutie pie, Junior, is believed to be the daddy of the puppies. He is such a great dog.

I currently have him at my house & he is doing great with all of my other dogs, both big & small. This snuggly boy loves to burrow under the covers. He is a total lap dog. URGENT! FOSTERS NEEDED FOR THESE THREE ADORABLE PUPPIES & THEIR MOM! ALL FOOD & VET CARE ARE PROVIDED!

Look at these precious faces! We were contacted about these three 5 week old puppies & their sweet mom, who found shelter at an elderly couple's home in the country. The senior couple is not able to keep them any longer, so we need to find a foster for this little family. The puppies are weaned & can be separated. The momma dog is timid, but sweet & loving. She comes right up to the elderly couple, wagging her tail. She also gets along very well with their two other dogs. These sweet pups & momma desperately need a foster home for 4-6 wks so we can get them safe, vetted & adopted either locally or up north. We provide everything (food, vet care & supplies). 🔴 URGENT! FOSTERS & DONATIONS NEEDED FOR LITTER OF 8 GOLDEN RETRIEVER MIX PUPPIES RESCUED FROM HORRIBLE CONDITIONS TODAY! ONE OF THE PUPPIES IS INJURED & WILL NEED VET CARE. ANOTHER ONE OF THE PUPPIES IS SICK. PLEASE DONATE IF YOU CAN! 🔴

This morning we were alerted to a horrible situation involving a litter of 8, 8 week old, Golden Retriever mix puppies living in squalor. Their water bowl had rust & motor oil floating in it & the owner was feeding them spoiled raw meat & chicken. One of the puppies was injured, after it was placed on the trampoline by a child & fell off. The puppy's leg is injured & will be going to the vet tomorrow morning. Another one of the puppies is sick & needs immediate vet care as well. The owner will not surrender their mom, but agreed to get her spayed. These puppies were in a rural area where animal control is non-existent.

Luckily, thanks to Amber Austin & Terry Butler, we were able to get all 8 puppies to safety. They are currently all at one of our board member's homes. Fosters are desperately needed for these precious pups. They can be separated into groups of 2 or 3 per foster. All food, vet care & supplies are provided. Foster time is for 6-8 weeks maximum. They will be transported to New England if not adopted locally. If you are able to foster, please fill out the foster form at rrofms.org/foster or message our page.

We are going to need help from our supporters to vet these babies. Funds are needed for their 3 sets of shots, wormer, flea/tick meds, antibiotics, spay/neuter & food. This is in addition to the injured & sick puppy's vet care.

Many Americans love a patriotic Independence Day party filled with family, friends, food & loud fireworks. But to our pets, especially dogs, it can be traumatizing. Dogs have a keen sense of hearing & blasts from the fireworks can cause them to be stressed & disoriented.
