WARNING FIREWORKS RANT:
I am blown away ( like fireworks) by the amount of posts of dogs that have shown up in peoples yards after the fourth. And the amount of posts of lost Pets after the fourth. Please keep your dogs safe and sound on the crazy stupid fireworks days! I hate what fireworks do to our dogs - fear, anxiety, the need to run bc they are scared out of their minds. How are these dogs getting out on this scary day??

I’m not against the beautiful fireworks displays our cities put on. But if you are one of those people who incessantly shoots off the cheapo fireworks from the 3rd through the 6th. Please know you are traumatizing our sweet dogs.

THE MESSAGE IS: If you love dogs… please don’t buy fireworks. 🙏

We are looking for an experienced foster and or home for our boy Mako! He is a sweet boy with lots of potential but he is fearful outdoors and needs someone to put in the time to work with him. We are looking for someone experienced with working breeds, and that can give him the time he needs to thrive. We believe he will do best in a home with no other animals or children. Mako is off leash trained, crate trained, and ready to find his person! He will come with 3 mandatory lessons with a trainer. He also will get lifetime refresher lessons as needed. We believe he will do best in a home with no other animals and with an owner experienced with working breeds. Everyone meet Mako, JSU’s newest rescue! This sweet boy is looking for his forever home once he graduates his off leash training program. His new owner will receive 3 training lessons, and lifelong training refresher lessons after completion. We think he’s around 2 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccines. While he is the sweetest boy, we think he will do best in a home with no other animals, and with an owner experienced in working breeds.
