100% of all funds raised will benefit the Waves of Gray Neuro-Oncology Endowment supporting research programs through Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

please watch your dogs and how they are feeling. This can be very scary. If you need to cancel with us due to illness please know we will not charge for the cancelation

The illness can include a cough, fever, lethargy and a loss of appetite. Veterinarians recommend that owners avoid boarding their dog if it shows symptoms.

Over 1,200 people came out to walk today in the 5th annual Waves of Gray - 5K.

Thank you to everyone that joined us in the walk, thank you to everyone that donated and everyone that bought bracelets and came to our dog washing event.

Team Wengert Warriors raised almost $7,000 being the top 4 fundraising team, with Morgan as top 2 fundraising individual. The walk itself raised over $120,000 to help fund reach from brain cancer/tumors at MD Anderson Hospital.

Go Gray for Brain Cancer/Tumor Awareness month🩶

We go Gray in memory of our employees sister and the many others who can’t be here with us and those who are still fighting. Help us keep her bright spirit alive by helping others who need it.

Cancer sucks, it doesn’t discriminate, it don’t care and we need to get ahead of it. We need more advancement in medication, technology and research. Along with different standards for yearly physicals.

We also have homemade friendship bracelets & anklets for sale, $5 and all funds go to the walk.

In May we go gray to support Brain Cancer/Tumor awareness month! Help support Team Wengert Warriors at the Waves of Gray - 5K!

7 Facts you should know about Brain Cancer:
1. There have only been 4 FDA-approved drugs—and one device— to treat brain tumors in the past 30 years.
2. Brain tumors don’t typically have obvious symptoms.
3. Brain tumors can occur at any age.
4. No one knows the exact cause of brain tumors.
5. One third of all brain tumors are malignant.
6. The lifetime risk of developing a malignant brain tumor is less than 1%.
7. Survival rates vary, but the five-year survival rate is still only 30%

Let’s do what we can to help each other, care givers included. Every little bit helps, sharing each others stories, fundraisers, donations, join the walk to meet people and see what you can do to help our community.

Dog Wash-a-thon and despite the rain we had that day, we raised $2,200 for team Wengert Warriors!!
