After 8 days we have power again! 🔋
Now we can really get to work 💪

As things are slowly recovering after the storms, I hope you all are having good days despite the circumstances.
We are still without power to run all the things the dogs need, but the weather is cooling so at least I know they are all feeling a bit better today.

Day 4 with no power. We have a generator hooked up to the well so we can give the dogs water.
Electric company says we won't get power till Thursday/Friday being rural area.
The roof is worse than we thought originally, damages and leaking, its gonna be a big repair.
Dogs are good, kids are happy, we are doing our best.
Say a little prayer we might get power sooner than later 🙏🤍

Hurricane prep 🌀 tips for pups:
- put on collars and tags just in case
- keep background noise going like a battery powered radio
- keep your pup distracted with puzzles, lick mats, chew toys, and play
- have a safe potty area ready for during the storm
- have thunder shirts or anxiety wraps ready
- have calming treats, cbd, or anxiety meds ready for dogs with severe storm anxiety
- stay calm because your dogs feel what you feel

Sweet Amber is gentle with children, cats, and small dogs, has had 0 accidents in her crate, and is so easy to walk on leash a kid can do it!
