I wanted to let everyone know -- I had a cancelation for the Thanksgiving holiday. I have a spot open, if anyone needs boarding for their pup(s) over the week of Thanksgiving. Book now so we can get you scheduled for a meet and greet, and solidify that booking!

I have a few announcements!

First I want to say: Thank you to all of my clients.

I am currently booked for boarding over the week of Thanksgiving. I do still have room for drop ins, but book now because those will soon be gone as well!
Also I do have openings for the Christmas holiday, but please book soon and book early, as I know that those dates will be fully booked soon as well!

Update: Josette’s surgery went as expected and she is now back in her foster home, resting comfortably. Lots of boxer kisses to all who helped make this surgery possible.

Josette needs your help! She has been diagnosed with Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS), which means inflammation of the cornea and surrounding tissues from drying (inadequate production of tears). A recommendation was made to put meds in her eyes three times a day and a lubricant four to six times a day in an effort to save her eyes and make her more comfortable. Despite our best efforts over the last six months, her eyes have continued to deteriorate and at this time, she is blind in her right eye and due to her discomfort, it needs to be removed. In addition, we have scheduled parotid duct transposition surgery on her left eye to preserve what vision she does have (it’s like looking out of a muddy windshield). Following surgery, she will still need meds for her eyes, but much more limited in scope. Our goal is to make sure she is discomfort free and to save her left eye. Her surgery has been scheduled for August 23 and is estimated to cost approximately $2000. Josette is a sweet five year old and is so deserving of your help. Update: Jynx has a foster home!

If you like the big handsome boys, Jynx may be just the Boxer for you! He is currently at one of our vet's and is in need of a foster home. We already know that he is two years old, weighs about 85 lbs., and is good with other dogs, large and small. He is also good with children, although we recommend kids a bit older, due to his size and youth. Fostering is a great way to get to know a dog, without a long-term commitment; if you live within the north Florida, south Georgia area and would like to help Jynx, please complete our online adoption application and let us know of your interest in him.

Today is my Sofie Ann's 3rd birthday. Happy birthday, my best girl. ❤ we celebrated with cake from Earth Pets, and both Lucy and Salsa loved their pieces as well. (Sofie wouldn't bite it as a whole cake, I had to cut it into pieces for her to eat 😂).
