Sweet Max was alittle over due for his regular grooming.. An experienced groomer will always communicate with the owner on if a dog should be taken shorter than their normal maintained guard trim. I have seen a lot of over due fur babies recently so please know that my first priority is the comfort of your dog. Putting a dog through a dematting process is not always the best option and often very harmful to the dog’s skin. It is my job to know when to take it shorter and when I can save the coat. This trim I did on Max is a longer shave meaning he still had some hair left and there was no need to shave down with a #10(which a lot of people consider that a “naked” shave down).
⭐️This is just your reminder that I will never think badly about an over due groom on your dog, I am here to help, educate and get your dog back to feeling and looking great!⭐️

🐾Vader🐾 What a special boy, when he came to my salon, we had no idea what I would be able to get done for him. This beautiful boy is only 11months and has been turned away from other salons for his behavior being unmanageable for grooming…. I am no miracle worker, but when I get a dog with this kind of grooming history I always take extra time to understand where the problem is in the hopes I can help Vader understand that grooming is okay. I spent over 2 hours working with this boy just to get him comfortable being bathed,dried,and brushed out.. and his dad was so happy to hear that Vader was doing okay with me! We may not have been able to get his nails done but a major accomplishment for Vader to let me brush and blow dry him on a lower setting! Over time, I will Be able to build this boys confidence and get him Back to where he needs to be for grooming✂️

🐾🐾I am currently on vacation until 7/30 for all my new clients asking for appointments and for my returning clients that are not on a regular schedule 🐾🐾 I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU also!! to all my wonderful clients and their amazing sweet fur babies!!
🙌🏻Thank you for all the referrals because I am all referral based now and that is truly something I am grateful for and love that when new clients come to me they already trust my grooming💜
🦴🦴 Also big things are coming to the salon in the next year and some of you may already know the dog in this picture and my big plans for him!! I will be sharing soon for those who have not heard about my breeding program next year! 🦴🦴
