Jacksonville Animal Services Our adoption fee is $55 for dogs and cats, and this fee includes the spay or neuter if necessary. The shelter is located at 217 South Redmond Rd.

Rabies vaccination (will be an additional cost to the new owner.) When an animal becomes available on a certain date, it is first come first serve. That means whomever is first in our parking lot, some people will camp out. in Jacksonville, Arkansas. (Exit 8 off Hwy. 67/167). We are open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and every second Saturday of the month from 11-3

Biggie has been available for adoption since February. Biggie is a love bug when he knows you’re part of his family, but he can also be very protective of his home and at the moment he considers his kennel at the shelter his home so a lot of times when people walk by he may act very possessive of his home but once you show him a leash and take him out, he shows you his love bug side. Biggie is in danger and needs to be adopted. Please come in and visit him and give him a chance to show you what a good boy he is.

This morning, the Arkansas Pontiac Association with Goodsell Truck Accessories & GPI presented Jacksonville Animal Services with a check for $6,000. JAS was the charity for the 25th Annual Wheelin’ and Healin’ Car & Truck Show on September 7.

We’ve had several people ask if snickers is dog friendly and we are happy to say she is extremely dog friendly and is for the most part kennel trained! She is still looking for placement so if you would like to meet her, come see us!!

Who doesn’t need a boy like Ramsey?? He’s a bigger boy but loves to play just like a puppy! If you are looking for a good adventure buddy, he’s your guy! Ramsey would be great for a couch potato or a trail buddy! If you are interested in meeting him or any of our available pets come down and see us!!

This boy is a mess but we love him!

The folks at Jacksonville Animal Hospital have named him Ronnie. No one has stepped up to claim him yet. He seems to be doing a lot better than the first day and the doctor says he needs cage rest for two weeks. He currently has no control over urinating. He just goes as he walks and the doctor said that after two weeks cage rest if it does not improve then he will stay that way. He has a small spinal injury with inflammation so we’re hoping that when the inflammation goes down, he will go back to normal, but he is doing a lot better than he was a few days ago. He is a very sweet little guy, and very quiet. I’m sure he is wondering where his people are. If you are interested, you’re more than welcome to come and meet him and pay a deposit for when he does become available for adoption. 

Wiley is desensitizing the new cats by barking at a distance! He is a little scared of them.

Savannah says “I’m fast as heck!”
