Today is our 3rd day on this earth- it’s hard to believe it’s been that long already! We are growing right on track and today we start Early Neurological Stimulation. These small exercises daily improve our cardiovascular health, reaction to stress, and stimulate our immune systems and brains in the most positive way! This helps us become stronger and smarter as we grow. 💕

To say we had a long night is an understatement. We made our way to First Coast ER last night after a longer than comfortable birthing pause. Thanks to the incredible team at FCVS (that includes my very dear friend Sarah) we welcomed a petite and feisty little girl as the final 3. The call to spay Danger at the same time as her emergency C-Section was made last night. This is her second and final litter, but we know this is in her best interest. She is an incredible mother and an even better companion dog. I would sleep on a dog bed next to this girl for eternity if it was needed.

We thankfully made it out with only minor complications, with both momma and puppy. Our hearts are full and our eyes are heavy.

Please welcome our summer crop, 2 beautiful and hefty boys and 1 gorgeous and tiny girl.

We have a geriatric chihuahua named Heidi whose owner has passed, and was surrendered to the clinic. She has been waiting a long 6 months to find her forever home. If you are located around Jacksonville FL and looking to bring a senior dog into your home, please reach out to Southside Animal Clinic for routes on adoption. She is a sweetie and is just looking for a soft lap to land in!

We had a special guest this week come stay with us. Remember Cinza (Magenta)? Here she is! Just shy of 7 months now. She has started her preliminary testing. Early testing is key to have a strong idea on the future of the dog. In the mean time, Cinza has been diving into her new path as a Cadaver Dog.

It is always amazing being able to keep up with the pups from Danger’s first litter. They all turned out so intelligent and good tempered. We are looking forward to the next generation due to be born this Friday!

Danger now has her CHIC number- and if you don’t know what that means let me explain! This means we have gone above and beyond testing standards to ensure healthy pups. This is a great achievement for Little River Labradors, as now this coming litter is from not one, but TWO CHIC certified parents. Yay Danger!! 🎉
