Help Us Give These 7 Puppies a Brighter Future!

I just facilitated the resue and transport of seven precious puppies into rescue, and we need your help! These little ones are getting everything they need to grow healthy and strong—vaccines, dewormer, microchips, spay/neuter surgeries, and lots of love.

With rescues overwhelmed due to the ongoing overpopulation crisis, it’s not easy to make room. But this amazing rescue (SAFE) stepped up and said yes when others couldn’t.

Now I’m asking you, my amazing clients, to help give these puppies the best start in life. Every dollar makes a difference, and 100% goes directly to their care.

Helping Paws will be doing a drawing for a $50.00 credit towards your next appt. For each $5.00 you donate you’ll receive an entry. (Donate $5 receive one entry, $25 receive five entries etc)

Adorable puppies below! Mom is a sweet little grey/white pittie and dad is suspected to be a golden retriever; tho breeds unknown. If interested in adopting you’ll reach out to SAFE Pet Rescue, pups are at their Treasure Beach adoption center (not currently available as they are 6 weeks and need vetting but you can inquire about the process).

Pupdate from Sonny!!! Sonny is enjoying the beach boy lifestyle locally in Jax with THREE tiny human bffs. This boy is very light yellow and super curly like his momma. He is currently the largest in the litter, when he started as the smallest! We love you Sonny!!

MEET ROOSTER! The most handsome, quiet and kind soul with a strong pedigree to top it all off. This handsome guy is our Sire of choice for our spring litter. With this pairing, we will produce level headed, calm and easy going companions and service dog prospects.

We have some exciting news to share! Our perfect momma Danger just started her heat cycle. If all goes as planned, we should be having a fresh batch of babies in June! Stay tuned for the details of our stud pick for this litter 💕

Pupdate from Gwen!! This one I feel extra lucky about. Gwen has a little girl best friend, and gets to accompany her mom to work every day- which means we get to see her every day and watch her grow 💕 She is one SWEET girl

Pupdate from T***k!! T***k has been living THE BEST life up in Ohio with her Vet Tech Momma. This placing is near and dear to my heart because her mom has a sibling to my personal dog, and was also my professor in college! I could not have imagined a better home for this sweet girl!! We love you T***k!!

Litter check-in with Buck! This stud is living his best life up in Wisconsin with his tiny human bff. He has given up crate life to live like the king he is sprawled in bed with mom and dad. We love watching these puppies grow up!!

Litter check-in from Cinza! Cinza is doing awesome in her training home. Her incredibly talented owner has chosen a scent to work with her on. Those of you that are familiar with her knew they were going the explosives route- WELL now, Cinza gets to be a rare commodity and work with human remains (i know- sounds gross!) as a cadaver dog. What an incredible gift this sweet girl can provide to so many families in the future!

We have some new faces with us this month. To start, we have JOE! Joe is a 6 month old Golden Retriever that came to us with very little direction. Today was his first full day of training. Took this little man to Costco this evening to work for his supper.

Socialization is so important- and it doesn’t just mean making your dog dog-friendly! Sitting and observing foot traffic, listening to cars honk and drive, and carts slam together. These are all small building blocks that will help Joe be a confident and respectful pup in the future. These kinds of activities teach him the art of doing absolutely nothing- to be relaxed in a busy and new situation. These lessons will stay with him for life.

Stay tuned for Joe’s progress as he (and his brother) stays and learns with us over the next several weeks!

We have a VERY cute new addition to the LRL training family. Meet Bailey! Bailey has a some negative feelings about being kenneled, so she is staying with us for a few days to make some positive associations, sleep through the night and to get some extra socialization.

Welcome back Venom and Butterbean! 🎉 These two boys are staying with us while their family is out of the country. We have been lucky enough to have been their regular dog sitter for a few years now.

Did you know that we offer long term boarding? This is a low stress option for pups that don’t enjoy being at a traditional boarding facility! Boarding with us means frequent play times outside, limited crate time, lots of car rides, and more couch snuggle time than a dog could possibly desire!

When your dog(s) board with us, they become part of the family 💕🐾

While Hawk stayed over this past weekend, we got to practice some public manners at the Atlantic Beach Farmers Market. Ranger enjoyed the trip as well!
