🚨 Important Update: Leptospirosis Now a Core Vaccine for ALL Dogs
The 2022 AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines have been updated to classify the leptospirosis vaccine as CORE for all dogs starting at 12 weeks of age – regardless of lifestyle, location, or breed.
Why the change?
🌆 ALL dogs are at risk—urban, suburban, and rural.
⚠️ Potentially fatal, even with treatment.
🔄 Zoonotic—it can spread from pets to humans.
🏢 Dogs in daycare and kennels also face exposure risks.

Cheetah had a fun filled visit with his brother! He explored Dr. Pitkat’s bag, found the catnip, passed out in the bag, woke up to play with more catnip and settled in for a good sleep in the sink. His motor was so loud and non stop! Such a sweet boy. We love him and his brother!

Novalux was picture perfect for her exam. She gets stressed at the vet but does so well when you sit down and talk to her. A little puppaccino made the visit a great success for her and we are so proud of how well she did!

Meet Charlie! Charlie is the sweetest most bestest boy. Charlie just completed his FIP treatment! FIP is feline infectious peritonitis and it used to be a 100% death sentence for cats. Thankfully there have been great strides in medicine and there is an fda approved treatment for it now. Charlie took his medication daily for 84 days to complete the treatment. We have been seeing Charlie since before his diagnosis and we could not love him more. Thanks to his moms watchful observation, she was able to pick up on the slight change in his behavior and breathing and immediately rushed him in to be seen and treated. We are so thankful Charlie has kicked FIPs butt and he has continued to grow into such a beautiful boy. We can’t wait to watch him grow and grow and grow. We just adore him and are so happy for him and his wonderful family!
