Last week we said goodbye to Roxy. She was the goodest girl and a hundred pounds of love. Roxy was the embodiment of joy and happiness and sweetness. She was literal chocolate sunshine. Roxy always greeted us with a smile and just wanted to sit on the couch and hangout. She only asked for tummy rubs in exchange. She loved hanging out by the pool and just being around her people. Cancer sucks. We will deeply miss our sweet girl. Rest easy and rest in peace Roxy ❤️

Over the holiday we unfortunately had to say goodbye to Cash. Cash’s family has had a rough couple months as we recently said goodbye to his brother Jackie as well. The direwolves have been reunited. Cash was his dads best friend and favorite coworker. There wasn’t a thing in this world his dad wouldn’t do for him. He loved yogurt and grandma would sneak him one all hours of the day. He especially loved looking out the window and watching the world. His dad built a lift bed for him to continue doing his favorite activity when his legs no longer wanted to support him. One can only hope to be loved and taken care of even a small fraction of what Cash’s dad showed him. Their bond was obvious and unyielding. We are heartbroken with his loss. Cash you will be so deeply missed. Rest easy and rest in peace sweet boy. It’s the end of your watch here but we know you and Jackie will be watching over your dad. ❤️

This time of year is especially hard in vet med. On Monday we said goodbye to one of the best cats ever. Rascal was 21.5 years old and we were low key convinced he was going to live forever. He was the sweetest and most talkative boy. He just wanted to chat with you about his day and then curl up next to you on the couch. He was happiness and love and perfection. His mom loved him to the ends of the earth and back. We are beyond grateful to have been able to take care of him and love him for over a decade. Our lives are better for having had him in it. It was Rascals world and we were just happy to be along for the ride with him. Rascal was easily a favorite and rightfully so. The days are a little dimmer without his beautiful green eyes brightening them and a little quieter without his larger than life meows. You will be so incredibly missed sweet boy. Rest easy and rest in peace Rascal, we love you. ❤️
