Training lesson of the day. When sending your dog make sure you have a solid send/out and a solid recall. Especially while the dog is off leash. Sorry for the voice lag
When working with reactive dogs, it's a great tool to have a solid dog to set the tone of the training session. Keiva (my black German Shepherd pup) is helping by staying calm, performing her commands and listening very well. Hunter has come along way with his behavior modification. He no longer snaps, growls, barks or reacts when dogs nor people are around. Congratulations Hunter
A great foundation for your Service Dog in Training starts with everyday distractions and consistency while training. St. Peter is one of our Vets for Pets program dogs from SPCA of East Texas. Our local shelter that helps provide dogs to our Military Veterans. Without their help this would not be possible. Please come meet your future Hero Saturday June 22nd. This will be our " Kissing Booth" themed adoption day.

Training Tip of the Day. Teaching your dogs basic table manners is so important. Having them "GO to your spot" can make a meal time so peaceful. Great job to Conrad and Angus (Frenchies). Mom and Dad have done an amazing job just after 1 private lesson.
Mabel(former Crackle) and Havoc (former Harlow)from SPCA of East Texas, enjoying the cool down together. These 2 are loving life and running the property.
Princess Gracie loves to play and train with Auntie.
Halo has been learning so much during SDIT class. She is 5 months and can preform the task "GO FIND DAD". We use this task for when we need help, feel like we may be in danger or may other reasons. It is an amazing job that she is doing. Great job Halo and her handler.
Loki SPCA of East Texas is doing so well. Becoming a gentleman. He loves his training days. He met my German Shepherd KeijaJean and knew how to behave. He didn't react while walking them together.
