UPDATE: HE HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS BACK HOME!!!!!!!!

DOG SPOTTED on Golden and Birch in Tyler. If the owner can PM us with their info we can give more details. Unable to get close to the dog nor take a photo very skittish. This was the lost dog poster we saw while Searching for another dog. It is definitely the dog we saw running around.

He is such a great dog. Way to go with everyone who was involved in making Shadow Aka Hades becoming a Battle Buddy for our SPCA of East Texas Pets for Vets program. Thank you Angel Paws Advocates for making a difference in a Veterans lives. We love it when we can partner up with other professionals in the rescue world.

WE FOUND BINGO!!!!!! This was a win for us today and everyone involved. I want to give a shout out to Co-Owner Hammie Tuttle and her dog Karma for not giving up they really took control of the first part of the Search and showed what a well rounded team they have become. It's not easy tracking with a Malinois but you both make it look intense and on point. KEVIA DEMON my newest baby. Just turned 2 and just amazing me in how well she held it together. She stayed focused, ignored wildlife, dogs, cats, people wanting to distract her and construction. To Ashlie Baley you were determined to bring him home no matter how cold, dark or crazy we are when on a trail. Great job. Steve and Kelli Simpson thank you for being out there and not giving up. Your love for Bingo really brought him home. SPCA East Texas All of the staff, volunteers and family thank you for trusting us with finding Bingo.

2025 PETS FOR VETS recipient Shannon Starkey has received one of our Service Dogs in Training. We work closely with SPCA East Texas and CampV to beable to provide the training from start to finish for our Veterans. We placed 7 dogs last year and our placing 8 this year. As we celebrate Veterans Day today, we'd like to highlight our own Pets 4 Vets program, a special partnership between SPCA ETX, K9 Connections Dog Training, and Brookshire's, who generously granted funds to support adoption fees and vetting for the animals adopted by community veterans. Check out STORMI nailing her "GO to your Spot"! This is the same as place. This is important to teach when guest come over or just answering your front door. Can be the difference between a safe dog or a door darter.

Training Tip of the Day. What do you do when your Service Dog retires and still wants to work something else. Let them. Sonn is loving being my puppy raiser. He goes with me to the SPCA East Texas and loves to socialize all the puppies. He helps with my training clients pups as well.

Training Tip of the Day: Never over look at good Rescue dog as your Service Dog in Training. Their are so many dogs that we have trained that cam from rescues. Please consider them first.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Tammy Copas Jolly and Winston. They have been training for 2 1/2 years. We started training when Winston was 4 months old to become a Cardiac Alert Service Dog. He has completed all of his class obedience, task training and public access. There may have been some tough times, but these 2 really hung in there and made it happen. SOOOO PROUD.
