Did you know that one unaltered female cat and her kittens can produce up to 420,000 cats in 7 years?!

This is why TNR is vital to controlling the community cat population, and why we offer free TNR services to Duval County residents. Our Rosie's Fund allows these surgeries to remain free for volunteer trappers throughout our area!

You can support Rosie's Fund with a gift matched dollar for dollar today by visiting www.fcnmhp.org/rosies 🐾💚

"Traci had been out of work for a few months while she was recovering from one surgery when her doctors told her she would need an additional surgery. “It’s been a real struggle to pay my bills… I’m a single mother with two kids,” Traci told our team. While she was recovering from her operation, Traci rescued Blue, who was only six weeks old, from a bad living situation.

Traci took Blue in, covered in fleas, and nursed her back into good health. When Traci brought Blue to us to help get her spayed and for her first vaccines, it was discovered that sweet little Blue also had a large hernia that needed to be repaired. Traci knew she wanted to help this sweet little kitten, but worried that medical costs would be out of her budget with her own medical expenses weighing on her.

Thanks to the kindness of our generous donors, Traci could provide Blue with the care she needed to be healthy and remain in her new home. “This program is truly a blessing for my girls and me to be able to get what needs to be done to keep our baby, Blue. We have bonded with her and love her so much!” 🐾💚

Alexyss spent over a year trying to take Olivia in before she was able to rescue her! “She was a stray in my neighborhood for over a year. I had to bait her every day, and sometimes she went missing…it would be days or weeks but I was always happy to see her,” Alexyss told our team.

Olivia finally let Alexyss take her in the evening before her first visit to us at FCNMHP. The poor pup was malnourished, covered in fleas, had skin issues and had overgrown nails. Not expecting the expense of a new pet and all the medical care a former stray like Olivia might need, Alexyss worried that Olivia’s treatment would fall outside of her budget.

Thanks to the support of our generous donors, Olivia’s medical costs fell within Alexyss’ budget. Now, Olivia has a warm, comfortable, forever home to live in with a family who wants nothing more than to give her a love-filled new life! “It took a lot of patience, and we’re both rough patches, but at least we can be patched together! I want to thank this organization for helping pets like her!” 🐾💚

Our most recent Spay Day was a success! Our University of Florida veterinary student interns worked alongside multiple staff and training DVMs who were on site to provide in-depth instruction on best practices for high quality, high volume spay neuter surgery.

We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to teach so many incredible students about all of the care that FCNMHP provides for our community 🐾💚

Cyrus's mom visited us during our latest Paw-sitive Wellness event to get her sweet, one-eyed baby his latest vaccines and annual prevention.

Cyrus’s family relies on our Pet Food Bank to supplement his diet. They have also used our TNR services to help spay and neuter approximately 20 cats! Five of those cats grew up on Cyrus’s mom’s property and still live there after five years.

“I’m so glad I discovered this place [FCNMHP]!,” Cyrus’s mom told us. “I’ve been coming here ever since I did!” 🐾💚
