Popcorn and her bucket of kernels are in foster and here to say Kitten Season has begun! Fostering a momma cat is easy, she takes care of all the kittens' needs ❤️

Millie came from a cruelty situation and could really use some TLC! She is a lovely older gal and is so sweet and cuddly.

Happy with Clawdia, 6 weeks old and 2lbs 😻

Clawdia is a sweet little kitty needing foster for about 2 weeks until she is big enough for surgery. She has a deformity in one of her front legs, but it doesn't slow her down!

Thursday with Mango, 3 years old and 45lbs 🩷

Mango finished her heartworm treatment (provided by FOJA from generous donations) in foster and is ready for adoption! She will be returning to the shelter soon, but would much rather find her furever home!

Monday with Gingersnap, 12 weeks old and 5lbs 😻

Gingersnap is a sweet little kitten who had surgery done to correct his ear canal. He'll be available for adoption in about 2 weeks!

THANK YOU to all who attended yesterday’s SOLD OUT Mutts & Mimosas! And a special thank you to the Sheraton Jacksonville for once again hosting this event and Daniel John Kleinrock for performing his beautiful music. A little bit of a rain shower didn’t damper the fun. It’s always so nice to meet our FOJA supporters and their beautiful pups. Congratulations to the crowned King of Spades and Queen of Hearts. Because of your support, approximately $3,000 was raised - all of which will go directly to the medical needs of the dogs and cats Animal Care & Protective Services! FOJA has more fun events planned for 2025 so look out for those announcements.

Happy with Bruno, 5-6 weeks old and 3lbs 😻

Bruno is healing from a broken femur. He needs foster for 2-3 weeks until old enough for surgery.

Lady Bear will require an FHO (hip surgery), but she needs foster for weight loss. She is a super sweet girl and loves cuddles and attention.

Kit is this morning's WJXT4 The Local Station / News4JAX 4's Pet Project Super Star ⭐️ Kit is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog mix who checks off all the boxes. Kit is 7 years old, housebroken/crate trained, has completed obedience training and knows all the commands, and absolutely loves playing with his toys and is an excellent fetch partner. Kit would love to find his forever home where he can enjoy his days playing outside with his human then relax to well deserved belly rubs. Go meet Kit at Animal Care & Protective Services!

Happy with Tuxx, 2 years old and 10lbs 😻

Tuxx is the SWEETEST cat. He loves attention and is a pro biscuit maker. He has a UTI that needs monitoring for blockage.

Fabian had a broken front leg fixed. He is a shy boy and hasn't been eating well here, making it hard to give him the medication he needs. Needs a foster home where he can feel more comfortable.

Duchess was recently adopted from Animal Care & Protective Services. Duchess is heartworm positive but that didn't stop her new fur-mom from making this beautiful girl a part of heart and home.
