The is celebrating 110 years as a beloved community institution, so we’re paying homage to our city during ExZOOberation this year. On April 5th, discover all that makes our Zoo and Gardens (and Jacksonville) unique! Take a walk through the Zoo’s history, experience animal and garden encounters, get in the spirit with local sports teams, see the beach without “crossing the ditch”, and celebrate Banks the Jaguar’s 1st birthday!!!!!!!

❤️💚Holiday partying this weekend was so much fun! I got invited to the World Electric Supply picnic AND got to ride in my very first float in the 1st Annual OakLeaf Christmas Parade hosted by OakLeaf Community Events where I had a one cat Christmas dance partayyyyy!

Did you know that May 1st is Save the Rhino Day??? Well now you do!! Three sweet Southern White Rhinos call the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens home - Archie, Gabby, and Kipenzi! Aren’t my friends the cutest? Since 2007, there has been a sharp increase in poaching activity and illegal trade of rhino horns, to the extent that many subspecies of rhinos have been declared extinct and the entire rhino population is listed as ‘endangered’! This is NO GOOD! You can help! When you visit us, a portion of your ticket helps us support over 45 conservation programs, one of which being the International Rhino Foundation (IRF).
