Let’s stay healthy together! There is a lot of media attention right now about “the mystery dog illness”. We did not have any sick dogs during our holiday stays and as of today still don’t have any dogs with respiratory illness. There are several unknowns from the Veterinary community so here are our best practices to help prevent it. 🤍

BARK is looking for a highly motivated, upbeat person to work in our dog boutique, daycare and boarding facility.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a large group of dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Animal handling or child care experience preferred. Able to lift 50lbs. You should be physically able to lift and handle large dogs and expect to be physically active for your entire shift. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, you must be responsible, honest, patient, prompt and dependable.
Pet Handling Duties
• Walking pets to correct areas during play, check-in or check-out.
• Supervising play groups with other attendants.
• Understand and follow, without exception, feeding and medication instructions.
• Watch the dogs for any unusual behaviors or symptoms and recognize what is out of character for any guest.
• Other responsibilities as required.
Cleaning Duties
• Continually monitor the playroom to keep it free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift.
• Daily cleaning assignments which may include, but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, as well as scrubbing of walls, floors, and beds.
Customer Service Duties:
• Answering phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Handling cash drawer
• Selling retail products / stocking products
• Keeping boutique clean and organized
