IMPORTANT BREEDER ED NEWS! We are now 3 weeks out for this years National Specialty and we at Breeder Education would like to give you some good news! For those that have inquired as to whether we would allow spectators at the seminar since the participation was limited, the answer is YES! But there will be some rules. All spectators are asked to PLEASE not ask any questions of the presenters in the ring but to hold any questions until after the seminar and we will try to answer them. As you all know people will set up their chairs all around the rings for viewing of the judging. We also ask that you DO NOT move any of these chairs but to bring your own. We are still working on firming up the recording of this seminar but this is another reason why we can not have any interaction from the spectators. The seminar needs to run as smoothly as possible. You all have the opportunity to listen to all the comments by moving around the outside of the ring to an area that would be close to any group you would like to listen to. Sorry to say, but anyone that is disruptive will be asked politely to leave. Please do not ruin this opportunity for all involved. Thank you for your patients and we hope that everyone can learn something useful to them from this seminar.

Today's adorable Barn Dog ambassador is Wagner, the German Shorthair Pointer. His mum says he lives for adventure, "going to the beach, the barn, lizard hunting in the backyard, hiking, wrestling and playing with other dogs... and really he just enjoys life." Wagner, you are an awesome Barn Dog!

Today we received this from the incredible K9s For Warriors and since their Chief Executive Officer Rory Diamond said it so well, we’ll share it here:

“As Memorial Day approaches, I think so much about those we’ve lost in service. I also think about the 20 veterans who take their own lives every single day as a result of service-related trauma.

The best way I can think to honor them is to work day in and day out to prevent further Warrior su***des. That’s why I’m asking for your help now. You can save a Warrior like Adam.

Adam was thrown from a combat vehicle when it rolled over an IED and exploded. He was knocked unconscious. He didn’t know it then, but the injuries he suffered would alter his life.

His Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) led to hypervigilance, self-isolation and bouts of rage and frustration. Thankfully, Adam turned to K9s For Warriors. While here, he was paired with a hound named Blaze — and everything changed.

Blaze senses an anxiety attack or frustration and he climbs into Adam’s lap or nuzzles his hand — anything to say, “I’m here for you.” Adam says Blaze has saved him and his marriage and completed his family.

That’s the power of your support. You help rescue a dog from a high-kill shelter, give it training and a purpose and pair it with a Warrior, saving both of their lives. In honor of Memorial Day, please help save another Warrior and dog today.

“We just tried the barn dog shampoo and skin lotion and love it! The Basset Hound is a 6 month old Puppy is my moms dog (his name is Wally) and he has a TON of skin issues and the shampoo/lotion combo has really helped him. We're so happy to show off the beautiful Barn Dogs of some of our ambassadors! Today's adorable pup belongs to Sam Moore, "Here’s the best barn dog (who loves barn dog Shampoo when his grandma doesn’t use all his on her grooming clients).

Cinch (named after the clothes). He’s a coming 6 year old border collie catahoula mix and will work all day long or nap which ever you want to do."
