Congratulations to Toby, our Day Camper of the Month who never fails to bring the fun to the play yards! 🎉 ☀️ Toby has been coming to Paradise since December 2023! He comes in for Day Camp ready to see all his two-legged friends! 💕 He loves to explore the whole play yard, meeting tons of new friends! 🐶 🐾 Toby is considered our Play Yard King! 👑 Demanding to be held by the play timers! Our Board-and-Train program is just the beginning of your pet's behavioral journey. Our Certified Dog Trainer, Katlynn, recommends the following ways to reinforce your pet's new skills at home:

Always use gear when giving commands. This is how we can give a correction if the desired position isn’t achieved!

Make sure your corrections and awards are properly timed and that you are following the command sequence!

Make sure to establish a training routine, the more you practice, the better you and your dog will be!

Apply the training to every outing you have with your dog to ensure the positive behaviors!

Balance training with fun/down time. Playing with your dog during sessions will ensure they do not get bored or start to avoid sessions!

Mahogany has been coming to Paradise since July 2020, she comes in to spend the night ready to see the staff getting all the b***y scratches she can! 💕 But be prepared, she'll get the zoomies when you stop! Since Wacky Wednesday launched in 2009, our amazing pet parents have helped us donate nearly $400,000 to animal organizations nationwide. 🐾 This year, each of our resorts have chosen a pet charity local to their community to support and help spread the fun during this Wacky season! From now until October 30th, every day camp visit means $1 donated to these incredible organizations. The more day camp visits, the more we can contribute! 🎊
