Hey y’all! It’s Chelsea.

This is my new friend, Random Rodger. He is looking for a family! Currently heartworm positive, but treatment will be covered. He is (roughly) 1-3 years old.

Rodger will come to you fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, with a year of flea/heartworm prevention, and a forever relationship with yours truly - I want to know that he’s okay!

He was a stray pickup that literally jumped in my truck one night and refused to get out on one of the coldest nights recently in downtown Jax. I have not been able to find his family and he was not chipped nor wearing any tags/ID. He also wasn’t neutered and is heartworm positive (both being taken care of for you).

Rodger seems to be OVERLY interested in cats (can’t say if it’s good or bad interest), so preferably a cat-free home because I just don’t know what the end results would be. He is not food aggressive, pretty smart, and a typical oaf. I am working to push all his buttons so that I can learn his quirks and likes/dislikes. I will have a small dog party if you have other dogs at home to make sure they love each other! I will also be “picky” about where he goes - I just want to make sure he’s going to be loved the way he deserves!
