Meet Mama Coco!

SHE WANTS YOU!.....to adopt her!

This is the mama of the little Black Tuxedo and Grey boys that we adopted out a week ago. She is healed up from her spay and ready to fly the coop and find a home of her own!
She is feline leukemia and FIV negative and her vaccines are up to date.
She's a little feisty around other cats since she was left with a litter of new-borns, and started off a bit protective of them. She loves people, though, and is ready to get out of her kennel and explore a new home!

Meet Talulah and Oswald!
Talulah is an 8 week old girl, we expect her to turn into a flame-point colored baby. She is a cuddlebug.
Oswald is a bodacious little 10 week old tabby boy with a heart of gold.
Both of these little motor-boats have had multiple preventative dewormings, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and had their first booster vaccines. They are both ready for a home with lots of cuddles and long naps on soft surfaces!

Up for Adoption!
For those of you that remember our post of a found-dog from 2 weeks ago, he has not been claimed. His information was forwarded to ACPS, but no one has come to claim him, so they are assuming he was dumped.
He is estimated to be about 4-5 years old, maybe younger. He has already been neutered. He has had his vaccines updated.
He was heartworm positive on testing and has begun on Heartgard as well as his initial round of Doxycycline and Prednisone as per the "Slow-Kill Method". If his adopter chooses to have him go through the Immiticide Injections ("Fast-Kill Method"), we can provide those at no cost.
He will need to be kept very quiet and prevented from running and jumping during the Immiticide injections for the duration of treatment, about 6 months.

Found dog. Was seen at Circle K on corner of Chaffee and Beaver yesterday morning, has been at Dollar General on Beaver Street since yesterday afternoon. Was trying to follow people into the store. Edit! White/Black Female is gone.

We have more puppies!
We have another group of accidents looking for a place of their own. These three girls are up for consideration. (They have two brothers that are not quite ready to go, yet.) They have had their first 3 sets of vaccines and multiple wormings.
We are asking $200 for each to cover the treatments they have recieved with us and to help cover some of the cost to help their original owners fix the parents. If you would like to come visit them, please feel free to stop by or give us a call at (904) 781-0599.

They are very active, so it has been a challenge to get good photos of these babies, but thery are very friendly and think that they should be the center of attention!

Notice to Clients: Walk-In Policy Change

We would like to make sure everyone is informed of a policy that has been in place at the hospital since December.
We have been having a tremendous amount of walk-ins to see on top of our scheduled appointments, we were experiencing significant delays due to the amount of patients to be seen and the fact that most days, we only have a single doctor on staff. This has led to scheduled appointments being delayed and scheduled surgeries being pushed back into the afternoon appointment times.

To try to correct this, we have implemented a policy that ALL SCHEDULED appointments that are present on time will be seen by the doctor prior to ANY Non-Emergency Walk-ins. Additionally, to ensure that surgeries may be done at the appropriate time scheduled for the patients to allow them to have ample time to be completed and safely recover, any walk-ins that are present after 12:30 will be asked to either drop their pet off to be worked in between surgeries or to come back after the surgery hours at 3PM.

We apologize for the need for this change, and encourage clients to make appointments when possible to prevent an extended wait time. We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Our Comcast service is unfortunately out again this morning. We are awaiting a technician to come, but we have been told it will be this afternoon. As our credit card processing and our phone system are both through the internet, we do not have either at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We have a client that needs to rehome his pet's and has asked us to post them for him.

"Good Afternoon,

I am providing pictures and a brief bio of my pets. Due to my health condition I can no longer care for them. I am seeking help with finding them a home.

Hope is a Beagle Mix female that was rescued 9 years ago and she was an adult dog when I rescued her. She is a house trained and is great with kids. She is older and her walking is limited so she doesn’t walk far without stopping. Overall she loves to lay on your feet and be touched. She has a restricted diet of fresh vegetables and 1/3 cup of dry food every day. She enjoys carrots for snack.

Laila is a female Terrier Mix, who was also rescued by a JSO officer and brought to my job prior to my retirement 7 years ago, she was a new born. She is full of energy and love to run. She likes to jump and run in the yard. She enjoy carrots for snacks.

Both dogs are micro chipped and spayed. They are great with kids. They are seen at the Whitehouse animal hospital. They are both up to-date with all vaccinations."

Attention all clients!
We will not have a doctor in the clinic from Tuesday 7/25-Friday 7/28. We will have limited staff available during this time for purchasing preventions, refilling medications, toe nail trims, and other services that do not require a doctor.
We will also be completely closed on Saturday 7/29. We will be open normal hours and operations again on Monday 7/31.

We have some young bachelors and a bacherlorette looking for their furrever homes!

Update: All Kittens have been adopted!

Up for your consideration, we have a Solid Black male, a Classic Tabby male, and a Tortishell/Calico female.

All three kittens have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and have been dewormed multiple times.

The Classic Tabby Male is about 12-13 weeks old. He has had his first two sets of vaccines.

The Torti/Calico Female is about 11-12 weeks old and has had her first two sets of vaccines.

The Black Male is about 10-11 weeks old. This little boy is a litle behind the other two, as he came to us with an upper respiratory infection and sarcoptic mange around his eyes. He is now clear and has had his first set of vaccines.

****Found Injured Dog****
This female bulldog was found in front of Load Runner Trailers early this morning. She appears to have been hit by a car, unable to use back legs at this time.
Please share and help us find her owners!!

Update! Owner found!

This older boy was found on Chaffee this morning by a construction worker and brought in. Our scanner did not pick up any microchips, and as the worker stated he was going to just drop him back off at the construction zone and the poor baby was already panting and out of breath from running, we are keeping him here for the time being. If you recognize this baby, please give us a call at the office at (904) 781-0599.

We have an adorable girl up for adoption right now! She was surrendered as a found stray after a neighborhood dog attacked her about 6 weeks ago. She has a scar along her left hip that her fur is beginning to cover nicely. She is a very sweet girl and has learned she loves attention...and canned food 😆. We suspect she is a few years old, and we have spayed and vaccinated her. There was a significant amount of trauma from the dog-attack, so she is a little slow in the rear end, but it certainly does not stop her from jumping or climbing, especially when fancy feast is involved! She says she would very much like to leave the kennel now and find a window to sleep in! Found at Deerfield and 228 in Macclenny. Sightings reported they have been in the woods there for days now. Female looks like she may have had puppies a while back. No microchips found. Please contact us if you recognize these dogs.
