**Hiring**After being with us this past year our current Animal Care Assistant needs to spend more time on his own homestead property. We're excited for him and his family. We're going to miss Jacob a great deal, but it's an opportunity for someone to join our team.
Animal Care Assistant
Sanctuary One is hiring a part time animal care assistant. This 30 hour part time position will be responsible for assisting with Sanctuary One core animal-care operations, and with a variety of programs. This position performs daily animal feeding and movement operations (“chores”), as well as other animal-care duties as needed: administration of medications, grooming, wound care, cleaning of habitats, etc.
This shift is for closing shifts Thursday through Sunday 10:30am-6:30pm (with half an hour lunch), a total of 30 hours a week. $17 an hour.
