About us:

Dedicated to the preservation of species against habitat destruction and the efforts to ensure future survival through captive breeding and education of the public . Specializing in reptiles now we have worked with and bred Coati’s, Kinkajou’s, Genet’s and many other mammal species, however we have come to the decision and viewpoint that many of these animals do not make good pets. These days we are working with the highest % Lewisi Cyclura available with animals from DragonWood Conservation and TY Parkers hard work with this species. I also work with some of the bast Carpet Python genetics around with animals from Nick Mutton, Andrew Paris, Bryan Hummel, David Haisten and many more. Currently I am working on Diamond, Jungle and Coastal subspecies with Blaze, WOW Larry Black lines and my coastal projects include axanthic and Madam Blueberry lines. Our goal is to provide the best possible homes for any animals we produce. many reptiles species can up to live 70 years in captivity, but only if their basic needs are met (or better yet exceeded). The Dietary requirements, UV requirements, housing requirements, daily requirements, and veterinary care requirements mean owners have a significant burden of responsibility just to meet the most basic needs of some species. Some of our animals like the Lewisi iguanas require an extensive amount of space and can be quite costly to care for; which is why we do our absolute best to make sure any potential customers are prepared by having them submit a questionnaire/application. Not every questionnaire is filled out properly or demonstrably shows a potential customer is not yet ready for the species. However, we do our best to make suggestions, offer advice, or point potential reptile or exotic animal owners to the resources necessary to properly care for the species. This is a judgement call we have to make.

Obviously, this process of asking customers to fill out questionnaires has its drawbacks. We often hold on to our animals for long periods of time (months or even years) before finding them proper homes, so a "quick buck" is never an option. We have frustrated potential customers in the past and, admittedly, angered individuals who felt they we ready for the species, but we disagreed. Again, our goal is to provide the best possible homes for our animals and we stand by that goal, even if it means losing a sale or a potential buyer.
