As this Thanksgiving comes to a close, I would like to send a message out to all of you - THANK YOU for a fantastic year (I know, it's not over). It definitely hasn't been a typical one, but it has been a good one. Toe beans! 🐈 Did you know that the farm sanctuary has kittens? We surely do, but we are not a rescue for cats. We are just helping these tiny tots (there are 2 others) grow to be healthy and strong and then they are going to be spayed, neutered, and will be available for adoption through a rescue partner.

Starr and our other feathered friends will be happy to know that I'm now PSI Bird First Aid certified.

For those unaware, I share my home with four birds: two Macaws, Thunder and Mr. Bird; a very temperamental Indian Ringneck, Nova; and of course Echo, the African Grey featured on the EPC logo. In the past, I've also owned canaries, parakeets, a pionus, a Senegal, two conures and a few cockatiels.
