It’s National Black Dog Day!

This special day is dedicated to highlighting something know as Black Dog Syndrome, which is a phenomenon where black dogs are overlooked in shelters, and to encourage their adoption into loving homes. *New classes are available starting in October. Preregistration is required.
*Classes are taught at the Pet Supplies Plus pet store in Jacksonville, IL.
*If the posted classes fill, additional classes will be added.
*Individual lessons are also available.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with one of the luckiest dogs I know. Indy was recently adopted and was having some problems being nervous around various people, places, and experiences. We set up an individual lesson and helped her new family understand and how to best help her settle into her new life. I know her family named her Indy, but I think Lucky would be a great choice as well!

Happy Labor Day! In honor of the holiday, here is Molly. She is a border collie and currently in the intermediate manners class. She has her very own job at a golf course and does very well at it! Well, done, Molly! Keep up the great work!
