A little update on Tucker and his Private Foundation Program! We started doing some confidence building with unfamiliar objects. 💜 Since Tucker is very frightened of everything due to his past, we take these steps very slow and praise him for even getting the food off the place board and sniffing it out!🐶 We will work to get him on the place board in the future lessons! Slow and steady☺️
CPhase went to Lowe’s in his Private Freedom!💜 This was his very first store outing so it was a little nerve racking for him to go into a new environment at first. Once we walked around he started getting more comfortable! At the end we watched as people worked and entered the store in a relaxing down stay! Very proud of him and his owner!🐶🐾 the Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations were close by and he did amazing observing them as well!😊
A little sneak peak what CPhase is learning in his program🐾🐶 this boy has lots of energy! It’s important to know when to settle into commands and work on some impulse control😊 I can’t wait til we make even more progress when we start outings!! Very proud of him and his owner!
Small dog socialization this morning! We love getting to see our small dogs get it some good group play and enjoy themselves! 💜
Anyone that graduates from one of our programs are able to attend our socializations that we rotate each weekend as a graduation perk! 🐾
Rex going through his commands!🐶🐾 He’s doing a awesome job and is a very good boy!💜Super proud of his progress!
Socks went on a Lowe’s outing today! She gets super excited when people come by so before we walked around we picked an aisle and worked on some commands!💜🐶 At the end of our trip she was rocking all the distractions that we passed!
Mjolnir is doing a fantastic job in his private puppy program!💜 thanks to a friendly neighbor, We could go ahead and get some dog distractions in. Then we ended with some recalls! 🐶
When Dollie went through her private puppy lessons she struggled a bit with her leash walking skills. We are picking up where we left off and bettering her walk with the transitional lead. Looking good Dollie! 💜
A little run through of distractions for Dolly today 🐾
Dolly has been doing really well with her training so far so pulling out all of the different things that might tempt her to break that command. Squeaky toys, dropping food on the ground, getting down to eye level, leaving the room, knocking, etc. All of these things are very real distractions that she will be facing once she heads home.
Why do we practice distractions in this way?
To be able to help build a dogs impulse control, we have to set these types of distractions up to set the dog up for success. If we wait until these distractions appear out of thin air, you have a much larger risk of failure and we might not be able to help them in that moment as much as we could have. We want them to succeed, but we also want them to learn. The more distractions you set up for your dog the better the results you will see. We will continue on with more difficult distractions and if she has a hard time we show her exactly how to get back on track. 😊
Happy training! 💜🐾

Update on the beautiful Molli! 💜I am beyond excited to share that from day one to now there’s so much great progress she’s showing! Her and her owners have been working so hard to introduce new structure in her new home, and now she self soothes in the crate a lot quicker when they leave. Molli has no accidents in the house or crate, she’s getting more confident, her owners started taking her on walks to help get some of that energy out and explore the world! As you can see Molli is a fantastic walker already and stays by your side! Even for her to walk by my side , someone who she doesn’t see everyday , is huge !!🥳 Everyone cheer Molli and her family on as we celebrate all the good 💜
Zeke had his first outing today at the park!! 🐶 He absolutely rocked it!!🥳
