One of the hardest things for a pet sitter is to have to hear about the passing of client pets.
Of course it is devastating to the client family, but for us, when we have developed a bond with the pets over the years, it is also heartbreaking.
We have recently learned of the passing of 4 treasured client pets who have held special places in our hearts and lives.
Angel, who truly lived up to her name and who “rescued” her owners, was one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever cared for. She never met a person or animal that she didn’t want to befriend.
Memphis, who we knew since the very first day he came home to his family. He was a gentle giant who was the best big brother to his kitty siblings and little Shepherd sister. He graced the lives of his family for more than 11 years.
Rocky was a wonderful boy who was a faithful companion to his family for 13 years and great sidekick to his brother Theo. Always in the mood for treats, a nice walk and some butt scratches, Rocky was where the action was.
Finally, Neema was truly the Apple of his humans’ eyes. She was striking gorgeous and amazingly athletic. As many cats, she loved affection…on her terms and sought lots of it during my visits with her. Such a sweet, striking and unique soul.
We know the pain and sadness that the loss of a family pet brings and wish the families of these amazing animals strength and peace during this difficult time.
They will see their devoted friends again one day and that reunion will be truly joyous.
Until then we know that they will live forever in the hearts of the people who knew them through the happy memories created with them.
RIP Angel, Memphis, Rocky and Neema.🌈
