He went through our 2wk board and train program so he is trained and a really good boy!

More pets reportedly go missing around the Fourth of July than any other time of the year. The booming sounds of fireworks elicit a fear or anxiety response in pets.

1. Make sure your pets are wearing tags with your updated contact information.
2. Give your dog anxiety meds if you have a prescription from their vet, or calming treats.
3. Have distractions ready! Treat-loaded chew toys, and noise from a television or radio, in a room with drawn curtains or closed blinds will provide extra comfort.
4. Leave your pets at home, secure in a kennel. Your pets cannot get lost if they are safely contained at home. Taking a pet to a gathering risks them getting lost in a strange environment.
5. Do leash walks for potty breaks to reduce the risk of fireworks going off and startling your pet into a panicked run.

Keep them safe and enjoy the holiday!
