Hey everyone let's talk farm/ranch dogs! Yes they are outside and are just going to get dirty again, we get that. This is Amber's winter coat. Amber is a Great Pyrenees you can see her in our photos from the day. All we do to Amber is give her a bath, blow out her winter coat, trim her nails, shave her paw pads, shape up her feet, and give her a tunnel tummy. The rest of our work is just brushing out all of that undercoat.
It's very important to keep our double coated dogs maintained when they are blowing their winter/summer coats.
We don't recommend cutting double coated dogs but we aren't here to judge or tell you what you can or can't do to your babies. Shaving/cutting a double coated dog can stop hair growth or affect the texture of hair. We like to keep everyone educated. When customers come in asking for this we always inform them of the risks to make sure they still want this service.
Sandy is back with us!!! She will be with us until Wednesday. We have become her second home lol and we love her just as much. She let herself right in the shop yesterday and made herself at home while I helped her mom unload her bags
Tank had a big fan while he was staying with us. She absolutely adored Tank, she doesn't just give good night kisses to anyone/pup lol
Hey everyone help me wish our groomer Miranda a very happy birthday! What a blessing she has been to the Forever Young Family!🎉🥳🎂🎁
