Dear JP Animal Clinic Clients,
We are happy to announce that we will be starting to transition away from curbside only service over the coming weeks and months. Starting June 21, 2021 we will be allowing clients whose pets have doctors’ appointments or are being dropped off or picked up from surgery to accompany their pets into the exam room. Technician visits and prescription pick-ups will continue to be handled with our curbside protocol, unless prior arrangements have been made with us.
In consideration of the fact that not all of our staff, and likely not all of our clients, have had the opportunity to complete their vaccine series yet, we will continue to require that all staff and clients wear masks while in the building, however. Even if you are fully vaccinated, we ask that you continue to wear a mask when interacting with our staff outside, as well. We will continue to offer curbside service for those clients who would prefer not to come in the building.
Only one client will be allowed in the building per appointment except in exceptional circumstances, such as the euthanasia of a pet. Since we will still be keeping the outside door locked, please call us when you have arrived for your appointment.
We have found that having clients fill out a history form for their pet/s prior to doctors’ visits has helped us to be more efficient, as well as allowing clients plenty of time to think about any questions and concerns that they have. Therefore, we will continue to ask clients to fill out these history forms, ideally by the evening before their appointment. You will be sent a link to this form when your pet’s appointment is confirmed, a day or 2 prior to the visit.
We’re anticipating further relaxation of our COVID-19 restrictions in the upcoming weeks and months, so please stay tuned. We look forward to seeing you soon!
The Doctors and Staff of JP Animal Clinic
