We want to thank everyone who donated at the Jamestown dog run/charity event this weekend! It was an amazing day to help out some of the local pups get some nail trims and enjoy the park! Shout out to James River Humane Society for bringing by some of the sweetest pups (which by the way are still available for adoption!)

Did some body sculpting on this beautiful girl! 🤩

What is body sculpting? 🤔

It’s a process where the groomer de-sheds a double coated breed, fully brushes them out, and use a scissor or a blade to round out the already beautiful and natural coat!

This helps the pup look clean, neat, and much easier to keep clean and care for!

Wow…
We were wildly unprepared for the sheer volume of calls, texts and messages that have been coming through.
We know that there is some panic going on in the community about finding a Groomer asap. The fear of not finding someone is a devastating thought.

We want everyone to know that we are doing our absolute best to get everyone situated and scheduled.

We currently have over 80 voicemails, 30 fb messages and I can’t even count the texts.

We simply haven’t had time to respond to everyone yet.

I’d like to assure everyone in our community that YES! We are accepting new Clients. YES! We have enough groomers to go around and YES! We are trained professionals.

We will reach out to everyone within the week. Please please please be patient with us. We are in the process of a remodel, grooming our existing pups/kitties, and prepping for a new to us groomer.

We are asking that our wonderful pup parents share this post, on their page, favorite group and help us get the word out!

If anyone feels like we aren’t responding in a timely manner, you’re absolutely correct lol 😂

We will find room for everyone - it’ll just take a little time.

Feel free to help us out by filling out our pet grooming form and ensuring that you receive a submission confirmation.

You may also feel like you got lost in the masses. Yes! You probably did 🫣 we may also call you multiple times thinking you’re new and haven’t been situated yet. Tammy and I (Kate) are attempting to juggle everything at once while steadily grooming.

Oh…my….gosh. I had to post this beautiful girl because this is the BIGGEST dog we have ever seen! 😳 Thea is a whopping 250 lbs and she’s a giant baby! 😂

Apparently we groom horses now! Haha!! 🤪

This boy on the left, Bear, deserves a shoutout! His mom informed us that he was a very anxious and nervous pup when being groomed. But…yesterday, he did AMAZING!! 🥳

I’d like to point out that here at the Mutt Hutt, dogs are never rushed through their appointment. We take our time to build a relationship with them and make it as positive as possible by using positive reinforcement. The pups are able to take as many breaks as they need. 💕🐾
