Setting puppies out near a busy Highway in a shallow box is not the answer to your problem. Not only is this against the law it is also careless and mean. Had someone not alerted us these puppies were on our front porch, these little fellows would have likely been run over before we opened for business on Monday morning. There are outlets available for stray puppies but you have to do a little research to find those outlets and when all else fails pick up the phone and call us and we will help you find those outlets.

We are very sad to say we lost two of our own this week as well.

Charlie has been with us for many years, he came to us when he was a little guy. He loved to stay in his little room in the back, and would occasionally wonder up to the front for some lovings. We are certainly going to miss him 🤍

Garfield chose us a few years ago, he just felt right at home. He loved staying up front and visit with everyone who came in, and everyone who came in contact with him absolutely loved him. He was definitely a character. Although we had him a short period of time, we grew to love him very much 🧡

Everybody knows Red, and knows he was definitely a "one of kind" man. He didn't care to tell you what he thought, and as some would say, "had no filter" 😂 There are many stories we could share about him. He's always been a part of Dogwood, and we always enjoyed his daily visits. The dogs especially loved getting their daily treats. We will certainly miss having him around, but will always remember the memories of working with him and having him as a friend. 🤍
