We just want to thank everyone for showing support for our little rescues, and to everyone who adopted them. We have one little one left, he is very sweet. Dogwood is very concerned about and anxious to help with the relief efforts for the flood victims in North Carolina and East Tn.
Volunteers have taken money and equipment and supplies. Much more is needed and will be needed for months to come.
Many people are forever displaced from their homes. Unfortunately, many pets and animals are displaced as well. The local shelters are overloaded and understaffed and underfunded during this disaster.
Dogwood is going to help these organizations with the transport, care and placement of some of the four legged victims.
We will be posting more information in the coming weeks.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and everyone involved with the relief efforts.
