Royal Kennels is a small full service, boarding, grooming and training kennel located in Moscow, Ohio just east of Cincinnati Oh. We have been breeding and showing Shiba Inu and Shih Tzu dogs for 30 years producing numerous Champions and Obedience dogs with just as many wonderful pets along the way. All our dogs are thoroughly temperament tested, cleared of Hip Dysplasia and other hereditary disea

ses before being bred. All of our puppies are farm raised with kids and cats on our 5 acre farm with lots of love and socialization. Our puppies come with a written guarantee, written care and training instructions. We also have rescue dogs available for a small adoption fee to approved homes.

Winston is a woolly Shiba boy. He is neutered up to date on shots and house broke. He loves to go for walks, hikes, and rides in the side by side! He like most Shibas isn’t a fan of water. He knows up, heal, place, sit, down, leave it, kennel up, and go. He will do all of those without a treat offered if the alpha asks. Some of them he will do for other pack members but not consistently. He needs to be in a home free of children and other dogs. And would be best suited for a couple who has experience with dogs so he learns his pack order right off the bat! He does tend to get a little bossy so a firm loving home is a must.

Our Story

Welcome to Royal Kennels and Pet Boarding Resort. Dan and I have been showing, breeding and boarding dogs for close to 40 years. We have lots of fun hobbies but animals are our passion. Dogs, horses, cats, pet foxes and even a pet skunk or two can be found hanging out in one of our 9 huge play yards. Dan and I both live here just a few feet from the kennels to watch over the “furkids” day and night. Our 6 acre farm is totally fenced and maintained for the comfort and security of our pets and boarding guests.

As a member of the National Shiba Club of America and AKC Breeder of Merit we show and breed some of the top dogs in the country. Providing loving families with puppies of outstanding temperament, health and that “something special” look we are so well known for.

Our pet resort and boarding kennel is also known nationally for our superior animal care. Huge exercise/play yards and open door policy where dogs have 24/7 access to the outside and are never locked up or caged.
