Meet Stewie(left), the longest cat/maine c**n recorded at a whopping 48.5 inches long! Maine C***s are well-known for being "gentle giants", typically reaching 76–101 cm (30–40 in) long and standing up to 40 cm (16 in) high, while the average size of a house cat is 23–25 cm (9–10 in).
Also, Fenrir who is the tallest cat recorded at a whopping height of 47.83 cm (18.83 in)!

🐾FELINE HEART DISEASE😞
The most common heart disease in cats is Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a thickening of the heart muscle that decreases the heart’s efficiency.💔 Since most cats show little to no signs in early stages, regular checkups are the best way to keep your cat’s heart healthy. February is Heart Month, the perfect time to schedule a visit if you feel your cat may have heart disease!❤️

Today is national Seeing eye dog day!
On January 29th, 1929, the first ever Seeing Eye Guide Dog school was established. This school’s primary purpose was to train dogs to assist people with all sorts of medical, physical or emotional conditions. In most cases, guide dogs were used to guide blind people. Instead of using the walking cane, most blind people opted to get themselves the guide dogs because of the extensive benefits they possess. This year marks the 95th Seeing Eye Guide Dog Birthday on January 29th, and that’s why we must learn a thing or two about Guide Dogs!

Did you know studies show that cats have learned to mimic a human baby’s cries to get food. 😻There is compelling evidence that cats may show attachment-equivalent ties with their owner! 😺Cats follow visual cues given by humans (pointing with arm, cueing with gazing, etc. ), and they can also recognize auditory stimuli of their owner! Ear infections in pets can be quite painful! Watch for headshaking or pawing at the ears, a dark discharge, or odor. 🙉Ear infections are more common in dogs than cats, and some breeds are at a higher risk – particularly dogs with large, floppy, or hairy ears. 🐶If your pet is showing symptoms, please book an exam. 🤍
