Growing up in the home of a breeder I have always had a love for dogs. When I was hired at The Resource Center as an art instructor, I began to bring “Faith” my black lab in. Right away I noticed that having my dog in the room changed the atmosphere in the art room. Intrigued by the enormous difference I began to research service dogs and the qu

alifications they would need. I have been breeding and training dogs now for the last seven years and love it. I have become a behavior specialist for dogs and work with owners and rescues, training people how to work with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. With my interest in training service dogs I have been breeding Petite or Miniature Golden Retrievers, and Mini Golden Doodles. Petite and Miniature Golden Retrievers are a hybrid, similar to the goldendoodles. These pups look just like a small golden retriever. This gives a great temperament and small size, but also some hypoallergenic and decreased shedding traits. Calling them goldendoodles would be misleading. They have a high percentage of golden retriever and a small percentage of poodle to create a great service dog or family pet. These pups rage between 25 and 45 pounds full grown. 2 Weeks Old 🐾❤️

I don’t know how to explain it but this litter is so dear to me. They are so very sweet. Everyone is doing great. So excited to see them grow and those personalities start to blossom. 🌼

If your furry friends love the snow here are a few helpful tips for when it’s really cold like it is right now at our place.
Did you know that some breeds of dogs are more susceptible to frostbite 🥶 and other related issues to frigid temperatures?
It’s true!!! For instance, the great Pyrenees and the St. Bernard are notorious for their longevity in these frigid temperatures. 😮!!!! But other dogs like toy poodles, schnauzers, and many others we’ve welcomed into our homes cannot be outside for very long!
The trick is to keep a close eye on your dog.
🐾More frequent trips outside for shorter amounts of time can be very helpful.
🐾They make snow jackets and doggie boots.
🐾 if you take your dog for a walk and they develop snowballs on their legs and feet be sure to remove those snowballs. I personally like the whisk trick but sometimes will use lukewarm water. And dry thoroughly.
🐾 just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean that your dog won’t need activity. Get creative and teach your dogs some new tricks and enjoy some old games you haven’t played in a while.
🐾 Add some extra grooming to keep your dogs mind active.

One week old and it’s time to let some special volunteers come in and handle these sweet pups. 🐾❤️ Their eyes and ears are not open yet but knowing a gentle touch from a child starts them off on the right path.
Lucy (Mamma) loved the extra hugs and snuggles as well.

2 days old 🐾❤️ look how tiny they are! So precious. Did you know that puppies can not hear or see when they are born. Those 2 senses will start to open up around 2 weeks old.
