Owners found! Thank you to all that shared this post. Sassy’s owners had been looking for her. And as a reminder if you find a stray animal, always contact vet hospitals, shelters, post on social media to get the word out. Keeping strays safe and off the street is nice but if no one is notified it can cause delay on getting them reunited. Have a great weekend!

A gentleman brought this little dog in today. We scanned her for a microchip and she was in our system. Her name is sassy, and she belonged to a man named Mark Amrein. We tried calling the number with no luck, but got a hold of his nephew. The nephew said Mark had passed away last year and he was unsure of who the new owners are. We are asking the community if anyone knows who Sassy’s owners are. She was found in Janesville near Dollar General

Hello everyone, quick update regarding our new phone system, if you need your pets prescription refilled, you can now give us a call and press one you will be directed to leave a message with your full name, pets name, and name of medication instead of having to speak with the receptionist. Pleae allow 24 hours to refill.

Messages left on Saturday- Monday will be filled Tuesday.

We also offer text messaging with the same phone number as the clinic! 😃

If we aren’t able to answer right away, please leave us a voicemail or send a text message, and we’ll return your message as soon as possible.

If no message is left, we won’t know how to get back in touch with you—so leaving a quick note ensures we can respond promptly.

Missing Cane corso from Standish please contact Modoc vet with info 530-233-4156

Her name is MAZY last scene at the Chevron station in Standish and 395. She is a blue spayed female. Very friendly loves kids other animals has been around livestock so she might show up at somebody's ranch. She’s been around horses and cattle. If you walk at her she'll run, but if you open a car door she'll jump in.

Our clinic will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Please plan ahead for any medications or appointments, and remember to keep your pets safe and indoors during fireworks—loud noises can be very stressful for them.

Good afternoon, Lassen County!!
Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic has openings for Spay and Neuter appointments for the month of July! As many of you know, the Lassen Humane Society voucher program is ending as of July 31st, 2025, so if you are needing to get your pet spayed or neutered this is the perfect time to take advantage of the voucher. Please give us a call to get on the schedule as we have limited spots available!
