Good afternoon clients. We ask that you please bring all cats in a secure carrier when coming into the clinic. There has been a few incidents where they have gotten scared and have escaped from their owners. Also please have all dogs on a leash or carry small dogs in. Thank you so much!

Good morning just wanted to update you on the upcoming schedule. We will be closed tomorrow Friday January 24th. Next week we will be open on Tuesday for discounted nail trims only for $25. Please call to make an appointment. We will be open on Wednesday for scheduled tech appointments. We will then be closed the rest of the week and reopen on Tuesday February 4th. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Lassen county hope everyone is having a great Monday. We just wanted to make you aware of one of the new changes if you are scheduling a surgery for your pet we are now requiring a pre-surgical exam on your pet prior to scheduling that surgery. this ensures that your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia and also ensures that in case there are any underlying issues the vet may be able to catch. Good evening clients we wanted to update you on December’s schedule the rest of this week we will be open 8 to 5. Next week we will be open Monday through Friday 8 to 5 however, Monday, we will only be open for prescription pick ups or to make appointments.the week of Christmas, we will be open Monday closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and we will be open Thursday the 26th and Friday the 27th 8 to 5. The last week of December, we will be open Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Good evening clients. Just wanted to be clear on upcoming changes. The month of December we will be open Tuesday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Surgeries are still being scheduled on Fridays for December. As for now for the month of January we will have Dr. DePaul here on Tuesdays to do surgeries. We will also have Fridays available for surgery in January with Dr. Terrill. Have a great Thanksgiving, we will see you Tuesday December 3rd.

Just a friendly reminder, we will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week and we will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Tuesday, December 3 at our regular business hours from 8 to 5. We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Hello clients the weather sure has been pretty crazy today, unfortunately, our Internet is down and our phone lines are not working, so we cannot make or receive calls. We are accepting cash or check as our credit card machines are also down. We hope to be up and running soon.

Dear Valued Clients,
We appreciate the trust you have placed in Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic for the care of your beloved pets. As we continue to evolve to best serve you, we want to share some important updates regarding our services and staff.
Change in Veterinarian Staffing
After much consideration, Dr. Wayne Cockrell has decided to leave Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic. His last day with us will be November 25, 2024.
We understand that the recent changes at our clinic may have caused some uncertainty. We want to assure you that Dr. Kalee Terrill and our entire veterinary team remain committed to providing the highest level of care for your pets.
Change to Large Animal Services
Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic will no longer be offering in clinic or out-call large animal services starting December 1, 2024. We recommend that our large animal clients contact our sister clinic, Modoc Veterinary Center for emergency and sick appointments. We will still be providing vaccines and supplies for ranch accounts with an established annual ranch exam.
For our equine clients, please seek the following veterinary clinics for equine services after 11/25/24.

New Clinic Hours
To better align with our available staffing, Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Mondays beginning December 2, 2024. On Tuesdays, we will be offering technician-only appointments for select services such as nail trims, a**l gland expression, and vaccinations.


Enhanced Surgical Care
To ensure the highest level of safety for your pets, we will be requiring pre-surgical examinations for all elective surgeries scheduled in the new year. These examinations must be performed within a few days of the scheduled surgery. Our team will work with you to schedule these important exams.
Expanded Technician Services
We are excited to announce that Susanna Ng, our registered veterinary technician, will now be available for wellness appointments Wednesday through Friday. Susanna can provide vaccinations, heartworm testing, and flea and tick preventatives for healthy pets. Scheduling with Susanna is a great option for pets not requiring examination by a veterinarian.
We appreciate your understanding and adaptability as we implement these changes. Our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for your pets remains unwavering. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Hello Lassen County. TPVC will be going through some changes in the near upcoming future. We are sad to see that Dr. Wayne Cockrell is leaving at the end of this month. He has been a great asset to the clinic for the last six years. We wish him well! Our schedule will be the same for the rest of this month, but we will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. Starting in December, we will be closed on Mondays and we will be open Tuesday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. the week of Christmas we will be open Monday, Thursday and Friday.
