Welcome littles!

Sushi (sable) x Winston (rew) gifted us two! At least one REW for sure.

Rose (blk otter) x Edward (seal) gifted us FIVE! We have at least an otter and maybe a couple solid blacks and two mystery colors- they’re to dark to be rew currently

One thing I love after a pretty rough week is having the opportunity being able to bring my rabbits to help educate friends.

SR Winterstorm (Winston) and MegaRex (aka Monster) got to come to work with me today to help show basic rabbit handling and education for our ALAT (assistant lab animal technician) class I’m taking. Winston definitely was the social butterfly and may have a second calling once he reaches retirement and Monsters calm demeanor was definitely beneficial.

I definitely think both enjoyed being “office” rabbits for a day and I appreciate the opportunity for us.

I wanted to post a few “Thank you”s this was our first time sending rabbits to nationals, our first GC eligible rabbit and really us starting to get serious in showing.

Thank you Smokin Roses Rabbitry and my boyfriend for making these boys happen, Kegan drove with me 4hrs one way to have Sushi bred to Bernie, and then Paris letting us also come home with Winston, and we will hopefully be having our first litters out of Edward and Winston soon!

Thank you ARS Rabbitry for getting such great photos of the rabbits for MR Nationals.
I don’t know if you realize how much it means to us to have an actual nice posed photo of our bunnies, I’m notoriously bad at setting them up.

And Thank you Red Queen Rabbitry so very much for being our friends and mentors with us for this, helping us make trade deals of “I’ll watch the dogs if you take the bunnies” as well as gifting us our first doe to get us started.

Unfortunately I had to stay home for this years MR Nationals, but sent the boys with Red Queen Rabbitry and manned the houses 😂 glad we did since they didn’t come back empty handed!

We were so excited to help and donate awards for BOV and BOG this year for Midwest Mini Rex Clubs Mini Rex Extravaganza in Jefferson.

It was about a month of a lot of work but seeing our work on groom-n-go’s was absolutely worth it. ♥️ 🐇
