We went away for our Annual Planning Meeting. Beautiful Lake Geneva. ☺️

Lots of projects on the farm this year: Adding an orchard, thinning the woods and planting plugs, planting more perennials to prep for bees in a year or two, beginning to repaint all the outbuildings a sunny “meadowlark yellow”, adding sand to the riding arena, and fulfilling my favorite longtime dream of having my own horse (or two!) again after 25 years of dreaming. 💕

Thor and Oreo (moving in next month) are Belted Galloways, raised 2 years for beef.
Tootsie, our goat, wanted to peek around and see who all the fuss was about. ☺️

Heavy lightning storm last night took this tree down. This is the only driveway into, and out of, the farm. It’s lodged right amongst our main gate.
Help is on the way, along with friends and family on the other side to take the 2 biggest kids to work and to start cutting off limbs to run through the log splitter and chipper.
