WIN is starting the New Year with a bang. Get ready to pitch in if you can. There is a “breeder” in central Nebraska who is going to stop breeding Wheatens. So far we have gotten a list of 6 males and 11 females. Yesterday we got one 9 yr old male and one female. They will go to the vet next week.
All of the dogs will need to be spayed/neutered and I expect have their teeth cleaned. Our volunteer in Nebraska needs help. I hate to just dribble these dogs out one by one where if we can get a group of volunteers, we could get all of them out now. But in order to do this, we’re going to have to have some transport and volunteers. Each dog will need a home or foster home with the opposite s*x lead dog to make them feel comfortable. The dogs that WIN has gotten from this breeder in the past, have been of good temperament. 
This does not mean that you have to necessarily go to Nebraska but if we have foster homes or homes fairly close, we may be able to arrange transport.

Also, if you don’t mind going to our website wheatensinneed.org and filling out either the volunteer application or the adoption application that would be very helpful. If you’re new to WIN you need to know that we will pay all of the Vet expenses for these dogs until they’re healthy.
