Hi 👋 guys! I haven't updated in a long time but I have been doing some massive healing. This is my surgeon who gave me my ability to walk again as well as some images of my spine broke and the new hardware. I saw my surgeon last week and everything is progressing at an incredible 🙌 rate given my injuries. I will be hopefully in the near future 🙏 well enough to start with a couple appointments a week with restrictions ! Thank you again everyone who has prayed, helped my family in other ways during this challenging time. I REALLY miss you all very much!🐾💓

I want to take a moment to thank you all for everything 🙏 you ❤️ guys have done for my family this year! Things are in the upswing (mainly) I am progressing amazingly in my recovery. Looking forward to putting a new foot forward for 2024🎄

I miss you guys so much🩵!
I'm working 💪 REALLY hard to get back to "normal". Everyday getting stronger and better. Doing as much as I am able and taking rests when I need to. I meet my spinal surgeon next month and hope he allows me to start bending and lifting more than 10lbs. Currently I am practicing walking ( even though I look like a drunker sailor)🚶‍♀️ without my walker but learning to balance around my house without it, gaining strength and independence! I started outpatient PT last week and it was so good to get out of here back in the gym again. When I'm not working on getting better my animals are all piled up on me🤗 I am greatlful for all of you guys and can't wait to get back when it's safe and I'm strong enough. I also can't wait to give you all a big hug when I see you. Hopefully some of you can come this Saturday ❤️

Happy national dog day to all my amazing puppers🐕!! I miss my dogs so much. I got to see Summer yesterday and she came to see me in Rehabilitation a couple times. I'm getting better every day! I have been getting craniosacral therapy sessions from Summer's mama and it's helped me so so much gaining mobility .

Hi guys!
Just a check-in I'm working on learning to walk again. It's going well (no pictures of that) I also did stairs today! I have a level D spinal cord injury which is the best possible spinal cord injury to have if you have to have one. I will be OK 👍 and normal again this means once I'm done healing and rehabbing. My kids get me outside quite a bit and Ben my husband has been so helpful daily. Bella even brought Bobby up to see me! Unfortunately they don't approve of miniature 🐓 roosters here lol. The one obstacle is ALL my ribs are literally broken. It's hard to do some things 😕 because of this..
But I'm getting better every single day ❤️

I miss you guys every single 😢 day. I want to thank you for all you've done from the beautiful flowers 💐 to the donations ❤️. I don't know what I'd do without you guys😭. I also want you to know I'm trying my absolute hardest in Rehabilitation at the UW Madison center to get better. Please take note I WALKED yesterday!!! There's a contraption I went into and yes I walked. They took away my sliding board for my transfers so now I stand up to transfer each time. Big steps here 🙏 💪 before we know it I'll be back to ✂️ haircuts because I AM GIVING my all to gaining my normal life back. Love you guys super much more than words💖🐾🐾-Jess

Hi guys!
I wanted to drop in and thank you alll so much for everything. Unfortunately the 26th my husband and I rolled our 76 MG as you've heard. Which the car also landed ON Me. I have been working on healin here at UW Madison since I was med flighted Sunday. I got all my staples and stitches removed from my head, my GI tube and my lung tube removed now. So lots of good victories miss you all so much as well as normal life but God saved me for a reason I am truly blessed for all of you and greatful to be alive. It is a real miracle given these injuries .
I'm a cracked hurting egg right now so this is a short message. Keep the prayers coming love you all very much Jess ❤️ the Groomer

Due to an unforseen accident , Jessica has to postpone all appointments until further notice . She is in stable condition and asked me to post this for her. Hi guys sorry I've been so absent on here with pictures and updates. This is literally the busiest time I've ever had in my life. Will get better second week of July. I have my first baby Bella who's just graduated and massive over achiever in life keeping me busy with her lasts as a high school senior. Volunteering Parades, breakfasts, and multiple award ceremonies. Getting ready for college at UW Platteville she received a full academic scholarship for. She has worked so hard her whole life🧡💙 We are headed on our trip tomorrow also I'm fully booked until mid July as well. Blessed here but terribly pulled in those directions I'm normally not. Thank you for the understanding 🙏 ☺️ time doesn't slow down and we don't get it back so I'm all in with this girls accomplishments while I have the opportunity.
