Update from Ernie. He is our kitten that was found in a car engine. He’s been here a week and he’s getting better!
Meet Pringle and Frito, who although not owning a perfect cover, are still perfectly wonderful kittens. Can we connect with others who aren’t perfect, even when we believe the same for ourselves? (PS. I am not 100 % convinced either of them is blind).. don’t tell them they have anything wrong with themselves.
Serafina says someone please give me attention
Look who it is!! It’s Molly our first monoclonal antibody parvovirus treatment puppy! Omg do we ❤️ her!
Update from Jaxx, our DKA case from last week. He’s doing GREAT! His mom is now an expert on diabetes and this boy has a team of people to help him get better.
He came to us a week ago after his vet told him that he was a DKA and the only treatment options were 1. Go to the ER (which is cost prohibitive for most tgeee days), or 2. Euthanasia. She called us. This is his story.
Can you live the dream and still feel happy about your lack of that elusive work-life-balance?
Can you see how excited Knight was to go home!! Thank you to everyone who helped support him!
These days have become chaotic and crazy with soo many cases. So we have tried everyday to add fun and find motivation! Today was dancing and Starbucks. Happy Wednesday!
Welcome to Wednesday. What do you do when the need exceeds the ability to help? What was once a call here and there has escalated to multiple calls each and every day. We’ll follow this video with a post to include the resources we provide to each caller. What is the solution? And is this sadly the “new normal”? (We are so sorry that this published sideways!)
Update on Ernie. He is feeling better this morning. We will keep you posted.
Update on Knight. He’s doing better!! Yay!! He is looking for someone to help with his prescription food needs. If interested in helping please call the clinic and ask about how you can help. (Ask for Jenn or Allie). Thank you to our tribe!
Get better little one. We have cuddles awaiting you in the morning.
How do you start your long work day?
Meet Knight. His mom doesn’t have unlimited amounts of money, like most of us, but she does have a normal vet and she does get annual exams for him there. When he got sick they would t help her. She went to social media and found us. I really think this boy will be fine. They both just needed compassionate affordable care. They needed what vet care used to be. The vet care before the corporations bought out our souls.
How do we pack so much into one small place!
Sunday with Seraphina. Watch out for the wolves. Being true to your intentions means you have to be true to yourself. Always be kind.
These very cute and playful kitties are looking for a furever home!!
