Good morning horse owners. Cool Meadows Farm, situated in Jarrettsville, Maryland, is offering a limited number of boarding opportunities, commencing April 1st. Our full-care boarding service requires owners to provide feed and supplements. Currently, we have one stall available, with horses being stalled during adverse weather conditions only. Additionally, two field board openings with run-ins are available. Our facility provides hay year-round, with twice-daily feeding sessions. We also include fly spray application and blanketing in our services, with the understanding that owners will supply these items. With two on-site instructors, our facility accommodates various equestrian disciplines, including Western & English from Dressage to Barrel Racing, fully covered arena with lights, emphasizing care, health, and well-being. We are pleased to announce a spring break Horsemanship Camp for our students, ages 7 and up,scheduled for April 17th, 18th, 21st, and 22nd, from 9am to 3pm. The camp fee is $340, with optional extended day programs available from 8-9am and 3-6pm, at an additional $180. Our comprehensive program will cover Equine psychology, herd dynamics, tack education and care, as well as equine nutrition, supplemented by daily riding lessons and grooming activities. Participants in the extended program will gain hands-on experience in the daily routine of our lesson horses. To secure your spot, please message us.

Working Student/Summer Internship Opportunity -

Are you passionate about horses and eager to gain hands-on experience in the equestrian world? We are seeking a dedicated working student/summer intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to improve their riding, learn more about horse care and management, and gain experience. Hours can be applied to North Harford's CSA program.

What We Offer:

* Riding Opportunities – Based on ability and commitment.
* Hands-On Learning – Daily horse care, grooming, and stable management.
* Training Experience- Assist with lessons and teaching.

Responsibilities:

* Daily grooming, tacking up, and untacking horses
* General horse care, feeding, turn in/out and stable chores
* Assisting with exercising and riding (dependent on skill level)
* Helping with tack cleaning, organization, and barn upkeep
* Assist with summer camp and clinics

Ideal Candidate:

* Hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic
* Passionate about horses and willing to learn
* Prior riding and horse care experience preferred
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Able to commit for the summer/seasonal period
