News from the Barn:

It is that time of year! Time to think about meat for the freezer! We will be ordering Cornish Rock Chicks next week. Give me a call at 252-202-6639 by 9/21/24 to place your order. Guarantee your order with your card number and the chicks will be reserved for you! Scheduled delivery is the week of September 23rd. Shawn & Jeff Davenport of Southern Dreams Farm have again offered to raise your chicks if you prefer, let me know! These chicks produce chickens with broad breasts, big thighs, white plumage, and yellow skin. We will be processing our chickens on Saturday, November, 23rd as a group and will be helping each other out. This is part of our heritage life skills program, so if you haven't done this before we offer all the help you need.

Do you have a pond & feed your fish? If so, we now carry 36% protein aquatic fish food!

Farm Fresh Eggs & Local Honey is available for purchase!

Our Newest Service, Jarvisburg Pampered Pooches, is doing great! We have a fully equipped dog grooming truck and offer services to keep your pooch looking their best! Appointments are available Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30am to 4pm. Call or Text 252-202-6639!

Upcoming Events:

If you raise it, grow it, can it, bake it, cook it, or manufacture it, join us and market it at our 2nd Annual Agricultural Trade Fair on Saturday, October 12th! Set up in the Pecan Grove in front of the feed building! Anytime before 9AM! If you bring animals for sale, bring pens, water is available. We will see you there!!

Keep 'em crowing, cackling, whinnying, baaaaaaaaing, purring, oinking, barking, & quacking!

Thank you all for attending Chick Day! The participation was tremendous! It was so busy we sold out of Chicks! Thank you to all of our customers!

Many customers are in need of more chicks...SO we are placing a special order this Thursday, April 4th! This is for anyone that would like to place an order that didn't get chicks on the last chick day. Please call Jim at 252-202-6639 to place your order by the morning of Thursday, April 4th!
