Thanks to all the support we have received from our bake sales, the raise your paw fundraiser, and the generosity of a veterinarian in Polk County, we have secured the funding needed for Raisinette's surgery! The procedure will be scheduled after the holidays and we will be sure to keep you updated on her progress. Thank you all so much for helping out and giving a wonderful kitten a better life!

Cakes for Cats Bake Sale is back on for this Saturday, December 21st at 9am in front of Tractor Supply in Jasper.

Proceeds will be used to replenish our medical fund to treat the cats and kittens in our care. So please stop by and pick up some freshly baked goodies for the holidays in support of the work that we do!

Bake Sale Canceled Due to Bad Weather...

Unfortunately it is looking like rain for tomorrow so all our baker's decided it was best to cancel our fundraiser rather than last minute have all their efforts ruined. We will post details once a new date has been decided.

Lost Cat Alert!

A 15 month old female mackerel tabby named Briar Rose is missing from her home in the West Water Street area in Jasper. She has an orange spot behind one ear, is spayed, and answers to Rosie. Please contact James Jordan (540) 931-2783 if you have any information as to her whereabouts, Rosie's family is worried and would very much like her to return home.

UPDATE: A home has been found for Lacy. Thank you all for getting the word out!

Rehoming Alert!...

Due to health issues, a senior resident must unfortunately rehome her beloved dog Lacy. Lacy is a 1 1/2 year old, 35 pound White German Shepherd/Husky Mix rescue dog. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and is housebroken. Lacy is very active, loves the outdoors, riding in a car, and has been taught some basic commands. Lacy is also very cat friendly! Lost Dog Alert!...

Female, 4 year old, 80 pound Black German Shepherd (no collar) went missing from her home near FM 2799 between Hwy 63 and Hwy 190. She is a friendly indoor dog named Kota. Please let her owners know if you see or have found her, she is loved and well taken care of and they would like her to come home. Please call Gregg Rayborn (936) 707-4843.

Thank you to all who stopped by our bake sale booth at the Jasper Farmer's Market on Saturday. Your support of the work we do is greatly appreciated!

We want to also give a huge thank you to the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that supplied the homemade baked goods for our sale. They made some great cookies, muffins and breads.

If you missed our fall Thanksgiving bake sale, not to worry we will be back at the Jasper Farmer's Market again on December 14th with the Cakes for Cats holiday bake sale!

Without this surgery Raisy will live an unbalanced life where her useless appendage is forever tripping her up and she may even begin chewing on it which will cause additional health issues. It may look unnecessary, but it is in her best interest to become a true tripod in order to have a better quality of life. So please think of Raisy this holiday season when you are gift giving.
