FYI: If you bring me any animal head for a European mount and that head has been in the back of your truck for several days rotting you will be charged and additional fee of 50%. So instead of $150.00 you will be charged $225.00. Please freeze them or bring them to me asap. Thanks guys! Lol😷🤢

These photos represent where to cut along the legs. The first thing to do is remove the front legs at the knee joint. Now make a cut along the back of the legs and you should connect back to the first cut you made around the belly. Avoid the brisket/chest area! The green line represents the correct place to cut and the red line represents the wrong place to cut. Once you have made these cuts carefully skin the deer down towards the head avoiding cutting holes in the skin. Once you have made it down to where the head and neck meet cut the head off once again being careful not to cut holes in skin. Place cape and head in a plastic bag and either freeze or bring it to me asap. If it will be a day or two and no freezer is available put it inside a plastic bag and cover bag with ice. Do not put cape directly in ice/water. Try to avoid getting the cape wet or hot.

Here is a little visual aid for anyone who has never caped a deer for a shoulder mount. The green line represents the correct place to make a cut. The red line represents the wrong place to make a cut. Make this your first cut encircling the entire belly of the deer.
