If you or someone you know wants or needs a part time job deep cleaning Yappy Days 5 days a week for $15 an hour, please send them my way. Job would include sanitizing and vacuuming, floor to ceiling in every room (including crates, grooming tables, windows, tubs, etc). We will be finished with renovations in two weeks and this will be a permanent job. Yall, I am one person, chipping away at a huge mountain of responsibility. I'm praying and hoping God will send me genuine, kind souls who can help me create a place where the babies are truly loved and cared for, and pet parents don't worry when they are visiting us. No matter what challenges we face, having faith and refusing to give up or give in is how anyone makes it up the highest mountain. The view at the top is going to be beautiful. My heart is broken. Thank you, Mommy, for sharing him with the world.

Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that Saint Norbert Liv Freyermuth Steines passed away peacefully wrapped in the warmth of my arms last night, 9:00 PM, Sunday, January 26th, just two months before his 16th birthday. My family is heartbroken. It was the honor of a lifetime to be entrusted to oversee his time here on earth. As a unique mixed-breed adopted dog— the only pup in his litter, he was a champion for pet adoption. Adopting him forever changed my life for the better in unimaginable ways. At only 3 pounds, he showed us all the importance of making others smile. He lived his belief that you don’t have to be big to make a BIG difference in the world. As a registered therapy dog, Norbert fulfilled his beautiful mission to bring kindness and comfort to those in need. He volunteered much time with people in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and special events. He donated his many books and his plush toys to spread joy. Norbert knew we each have special gifts to share to help each other.

We feel the love and appreciate the prayers and support from each of you around the world. It means more than words can say. We know that so many of you understand the deep sadness at the loss of a beloved animal companion. I am the luckiest woman to have the support of the Norberthood to help me not only mourn the loss of this tiny creature of pure goodness, but to also celebrate his life and his legacy. I know two things for sure: Norbert made this world a better place, and his spirit will live on through our smiles in his community, the Norberthood.

In celebration of Norbert’s life, we will share Norbert’s photos and videos on his social media and websites. In some way, we hope to carry on with his good work. When you think of him, he would want you to smile. In the spirit of Norbert, high-five to each of you. Love, Julie

Happy election day, fur family! I know its not *professional* for a business to post politically, but.... I just spoke with a fur family member. She is 80 years old. She said this is the most important election of her life time, and I agree. I see how pet parents are struggling. They wait longer in between grooms to be able to juggle food, bills and other necessities. If you have issues with affording grooms, talk to me. We can work something out. We are all struggling and you"re not alione!!

I know that if Jasper, Walker County, surrounding counties, ever had a disaster like this, we would be okay. Because I have met the most wonderful, selfless, giving humans, more so than any other place Ive ever lived. When someone is down, they ask what they can do to help, not turn their back until your wounds are healed, then, as looters come back to see what else they can take from you. I have made the best friends and adopted family here. I hope we never have a crippling catastrophic tragedy here, but if we ever do I know we are all in good hands.

This guy walked onto our property in Bremen last week and we have tried to find his owner with no luck. He's not neutered. He's the sweetest thing, always smiling (yes, smiling!), gentle with other animals and children and just wants love. He knows sit and has a broken foot. We are feeding him and taking care of him the best we can. We already have other rescues we are caring for so if you'd be interested in helping or giving him a home call me! Hes a large lab mix not over 2 years old. He has a huge head and smallee body. He is THE CUTEST! Housetrained!

In order to give the best service possible, and to accomodate being a 24/7 carer of a special needs child I will no longer be offering appointments before 10:30 AM. I will be making more changes so that no pet parents are inconvenienced by my personal obligations, and everyone will recieve the care that they deserve. I love the fur babies and I want to make sure that every pet parent feels as if they are getting their needs met when their babies are in my care. I hope that this wont inconvenience anyone and that the quality of service only continues to improve.

Its still icy on a very dangerous hill that we have to go down to get to Hwy 69 at Cold Springs. Im going to try my best to be at work tomorrow. We are taking it day by day, and when law enforcement says the roads are passable we will be there. Good news! I've finally had the time to figure out whats going on with my voicemail! I was able to not only access them, but listen to them and cleared it! No more issues with voicemails! If you cant reach me, leave me a message, I WILL call you back! Winter needs to do this more often! I'm also looking for a home for this beautiful cow. Hes a miniature bull, he is so sweet! He needs a home with other cows. When we bought this farm, he was already here. We really thought we would have more cows by now. But we don't, and he's so lonely. The pigs just dont do it for him. Want him? Let me know! Must have other live stock! Pretty please?
