Please help us!!

We have to try…..our friends with Helping Paws of North Georgia are trying so hard to give these pups a chance…..but things are so tough in rescue right now….

Their owner died and these pups have been living in a pen their entire lives with very little exercise or attention. They must be off the property immediately and the local shelter is packed and owner surrenders are typically euthanized.

This is a huge ask because these pups need fosters, training, love, patience and veterinary care. These guys need a lot and won’t be plug and play type dogs-they will need dedicated folks to help them.

BarkVille has way too many dogs stuck in boarding right now, but we can’t stand the thought of not trying to help 5 puppies find a second chance. We have to try….

We also need pledges/ sponsors in the event we can save them to cover short term boarding, vet care, training and supplies. 🧡 Happy Thanksgiving from BarkVille Dog Rescue! 🧡
Today we’re grateful for our incredible supporters, fosters, adopters, and everyone who believes in second chances. You make rescue possible every single day.

Two of our sweetest pups, Bear and Chapman, have graduated from their professional training programs — and the only thing they’re wishing for this Thanksgiving is a family.

🐾 Bear is a big, handsome lovebug currently stuck in boarding, dreaming of spending the holidays snuggled up at home instead. He’s smart, affectionate, house/crate trained, and ready to give someone his whole heart.

🐾 Chapman is a playful, adorable pup who’s also completed her training and is more than ready for a foster or adopter to help her continue learning and thriving. She’s fun-loving, social, and so grateful for every bit of attention and love.

Buddy’s Home! This big guy has been adopted!!!

Handsome Buddy was officially adopted yesterday by his foster family!! It was hard work helping Buddy blend into the family because the other dogs in the home weren’t so sure they liked him!! But, with time, hard work and patience he is now officially part of the pack!! We are so happy for him!!!

Congratulations Buddy! We know you will live your best life with lots of love and care!!!!

It’s $2 Tuesday! Please Donate to help us send Micah to training!!!

We truly make our dogs a priority in everything we do- we try our best for each life we save - unfortunately sometimes that just isn’t good enough. Poor Micah lost his amazing foster due to a move out of the country, then he lost his adopter-so he has been sitting in boarding where his anxiety has gotten worse by the day. Now, he has gotten to the point where he is injuring himself and he really cannot stay in boarding any longer.

By a true miracle, we have a found a wonderful foster for him but he has to go to training to work on his enclosure anxiety so that he can safely be left in a crate when home alone. We have to do everything we can to raise $1000 to get Micah to training on Monday- the first available opening.

Snickers and Midnight love ❤️ their walks in the nice fall weather!!

Both Snickers and Midnight are available for adoption and both have been obedience trained at Rucker Dog Training. They have become best buds but do not have to be adopted together- though that would be awesome!!

Oh Arthur!!! You are such a cutie and a very good boy!!!

Arthur had a trial adoption that didn’t work out- not his fault at all, but now he has landed in paid boarding. He behaved perfectly, unfortunately the small child in the adoptive home couldn’t be quite as nice to Arthur so we moved him in the best interests of everyone. Safety first.

Arthur is 2 year old- about 36lbs, dog and kid friendly, crate trained and walks well on a leash. He has a happy personality and is eager to please.

It’s $5 Friday! Please donate to help us cover Redwood’s $600 boarding costs this month.

We hate that Redwood is still stuck in boarding - we have tried and tried to find a foster but we haven’t been successful yet. We will keep trying to help our friend land in a home.

Redwood is medium energy, needs slow introductions to new dogs, loves people and is a handsome, hunk!!

Volunteers that go to walk him and give him attention say he is a good boy- very happy and loving.

Look who got adopted!! Bali!!!

Little Bali was completely emaciated when one of our volunteer’s husband found her- she was in rough condition and we worked hard to get her out of the shelter asap and to our veterinarian for immediate care.

Thankfully an amazing foster stepped up and brought our sweet girl home and nursed her back to health and happiness!!! Then, her forever family found her and now the rest is history as they say!!!

Big Bear is just about finished with his training school!! He is very bright abd has learned his obedience skills very well.

Here is what one of his trainers had to say about him-“He’s a very friendly, happy boy who loves a good snuggle. No sign of any dog aggression or issues with people. Does well in his crate and is a tidy fellow in his kennel.

How could you go wrong? He’s big, beautiful, lovable and very smart! Perfect pup in our opinion!!
