This sweet boy has been let down too many times. Found as a stray and never knowing the comfort of a home, Nemo has some anxiety and trust issues he needs help overcoming.

A great time was had by all at Pickle for Pups Team up for Rescue 2025. Here are pics of the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winning teams from both levels. We had 20 teams in all with 160 participants in this year's tournament. We look forward to making it even larger next year for the dogs and hope you will join us!

We always do all we can to make sure the dogs we save receive the training and care necessary so they can live their best life.

This often involves a Board And Train package at one of our awesome trainers, Rucker Dog Training.

As important as the training itself, is knowing that the dogs will have a loving foster home to go to when their training is completed so that they can put into practice what they have learned.

Right now we have several awesome dogs getting close to being ready to go to a loving foster or adopter. Can you be that loving home??? We need you!!! They need you!!!

Whether you are looking to foster or adopt You do not want to miss out on this sweet girl!!!

Meet Scottie – a 3-year-old, 58 lb pitbull mix with the sweetest heart and a smile that lights up the room! Rescued by Barkville from Clayton County Shelter, Scottie started off shy, but with a little love and patience she has truly blossomed into a happy, affectionate, and playful girl.

But sadly, Scottie is not living the life she deserves as she is stuck in boarding and is doing her best to hang in there until we can find a loving foster home for her to share her love in.

Scottie loves spending time in the backyard chasing her favorite ball, going for walks, and snuggling up with her people. She’s wonderful with kids, friendly with other dogs, and already knows her basic commands. Smart and eager to please, she learns quickly and walks nicely on the leash. With her medium energy level, she’s just as content playing outside as she is curling up for cuddles on the couch.

This sweet girl is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and both house and crate trained. Sadly, Scottie is stuck in boarding right now, but she dreams of a home – whether adoptive or foster – where she can finally feel safe, loved, and part of a family.

Sir Amos Odin was found wandering Gwinnett County streets — 40 lbs underweight and barely hanging on. Now he’s thriving with his forever mom and Husky sister Freyja! 🐾✨

Cooper was an owner surrender, sad and confused in the shelter… until one of our amazing followers shared his story. That one post changed everything — now he’s living his best life with his two human siblings! ❤️

From street stray to spoiled, from heartbreak to home — this is what rescue does. 🙌

It's $5 Friday...please donate!

Sweet Buffy is just 2 yrs. old and BarkVille Saved her from the euthanasia list at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. At the shelter she was extremely kennel-stressed and fearful, avoiding direct contact, refusing treats, and retreating from touch.

In her foster home she has done wonderfully with her foster family's pets ( three small dogs and two cats) but is not adjusting well to meeting new people.

Buffy is blossoming but would really benefit from professional training and confidence building to get her ready for her forever home.

BarkVille always does all we can to set our dogs up for success and this means we will get Buffy into a board and train program that will cost us $1000. We cannot get her started until we raise the funds for her training. Can you help us help Buffy?
