Fosters Needed!!

One of our amazing vets rescued their mom and then she had pups soon after…these guys are 9 weeks old and best guess is Chiweenie Mix!! Our vet is keeping mom but is moving back home to care for his Dad and asked us to find a loving home or two for these adorable pups!! One male- one femaie- not sure which is which at the moment but will find out.

These pups will be small dogs when full grown. BarkVille will take care of all their vet care- we just need to find one- two loving foster homes!!!

Big Boy Wampie has been adopted!!!

Wampie was an older gentleman we saved from Walton County in the spring. Poor guy had heartworm disease and needed treatment.

Fast forward a few months and his heartworm disease has been treated and his foster mom has fallen in love!! So Wampie is home!!

Wampie loves his mom and his Husky sibling! We know Wampie will enjoy the rest of his life being healthy and well cared for!!!

Adoptions are Cool 😎!!!!

It’s $5 Friday!! Please Donate!!

Thankfully we were able to rescue Dixie the 16 yr old girl from her owner. We had a wonderful foster step up to help and he met Dixie’s owner yesterday at the vet yesterday.

Dixie had been with her owner since she was 6 weeks old so this is going to be a major transition for her. So far she is handling it as well as can be expected .

Dixie had a care appt yesterday where she received all her needed vaccines, a microchip, nail trim, exam and senior blood work. She is in desperate need of a dental as she has Grade 4 Dental Disease. We are just waiting on her bloodwork results and then we’ll get that scheduled.

Can you help us raise $1000 to cover all her veterinary care and major dental where many teeth will need to be removed?

We love ❤️ being able to save dogs like Dixie that truly are the under dogs, but we really need your support to cover her care needs.

Please help Charlotte!!

This gorgeous girl is not handling boarding well- it’s too loud and scary for her. She has already chipped a tooth and broken her dew claw…..

Currently she is in a crate at the veterinary clinic- she is fine there, never tries to get out, just wants to be close to people where things are calmer.

So what is BarkVille to do? We’ve begged for fosters- NOT ONE PERSON HAS OFFERED TO HELP ANY OF DOGS THIS WEEK….. we’re desperate for a loving home for Charlotte and it kills us that we have absolutely nowhere for her to go.

Charlotte is a beautiful fawn color with pretty eyes. Charlotte is dog friendly, gentle, calm and loving.

Will you be the one person in a million to help Charlotte get out of boarding? We cannot do this rescue thing without YOUR HELP.

Arthur is ridiculously athletic and intensely passionate about playing fetch. He's got flawless manners and not a single fear - just curiosity! His favorite treats, you ask? Did you know we have a domestic animal crisis in our state?

Did you know shelters are euthanizing thousands of dog each year and owners are giving up their dogs at a rate higher than our rescue has ever seen?

Did you know rescues run on donations and receive no county, state or federal funding?

Dixie is a perfect example- yesterday in addition to at least 10 other owner give up requests we received, we received Dixie’s plea for help. Dixie is 16 yrs old and her owner lost his job and home- he can go with a friend but she can’t.

Dixie is housebroken, gets along with people and is great with other dogs. She is approximately 16yrs old and weighs 40lbs.

On Friday, if no help is found, she will go to the county shelter- depending on which county it is, they may or may not take her in- since she is an owner surrender she can be euthanized upon intake. If the shelter won’t take her what happens then? She gets left on the streets to fend for herself?

We want to help Dixie- but we are struggling to find kind people willing to foster. We don’t understand why- our group would cover all of Dixie’s expenses- we just need a foster home for her.

Can you help us save Dixie? Can you be the one person willing to open your heart and home to save her from a terrible ending?
