A Very Happy Adoption!! Bison found his forever family this week!!!

Our little Bison came to us from death row at Clayton County AC a few months back - he got very lucky and went to a foster home with one of the trainers that we work with! He learned all his good boy skills, gain confidence and then those big, beautiful ears of his grabbed his new mom’s attention!!! The meeting was love at first sight for both of them and we are so happy the stars aligned!!!!

Buck, Richie and Bishop- all three 5 month old pups dumped by owner at Walton County AC - they need socialization and basic training.

Right now they have ZERO Rescue or Adoption Interest. BarkVille Dog Rescue cannot help without fosters- please help us save them- 5 month old pups should not be euthanized for any reason.

Mom and Son Desperately Need our Help to Make it out of the Shelter. All they have in the world is each other-they were found as strays and are as tight as two dogs can get.

Currently we are trying to save two families- this mom and son and three baby brothers - no one else is coming for either family. But finding fosters right now us is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. We would love yo save these families but we cannot do it without some help - we must find fosters.

💙 CLAY “BOOMER” — FROM SURVIVOR TO THRIVER 💙

BarkVille stepped in to save Clay “Boomer” from Fulton County Animal Shelter after he was the victim of heartbreaking abuse. Despite everything he endured, this sweet boy never stopped wanting love.

Today, Boomer is thriving in his amazing foster home, finally experiencing the safety, comfort, and kindness he has always deserved. 💛

But his story isn’t finished yet — Clay “Boomer” is STILL available for adoption and is more than ready to meet his forever family! This brave, joyful, resilient boy deserves the happiest ending.

This Giving Tuesday, please help us continue saving dogs like Boomer.

Skye’s Story ❤️

At 9 years old, Skye was surrendered to a rural shelter—an older mama, overlooked and alone. BarkVille rescued her when no one else would, and she spent the rest of her life truly loved.

Skye became the perfect family dog in her foster home—gentle, patient, “bomb-proof” with kids, and always carrying her little blankie around. She accompanied her foster family through chemo visits, farm days, road trips, and even helped them say goodbye to their senior dog. She had multiple major surgeries, and every time she needed care, BarkVille said yes—because she deserved it.

In her final months, Skye declined from a likely brain tumor, but she never stopped being pure love. She passed knowing she was treasured.

Skye is why BarkVille matters. Seniors, medical dogs, the overlooked ones—your donations give them a chance to thrive, not just survive.

Copper’s last day might be today…..this dog and kid friendly dog was left at the shelter weeks ago- no one has rescued or adopted him. So his fate is looking dim. He is only about 2 yrs old and roughly 40lbs.

BarkVille Dog Rescue has 10 dogs in paid boarding and really shouldn’t even try to save anymore dogs at this point - but, Cooper really speaks to us- we know he is a great dog and will make a fantastic family dog - so we are trying - one last try to save him.

In order to save Cooper, we have to find a COMMITTED foster- one that will work with him and keep him until he finds his forever home. If we can find one person in the Atlanta/North Georgia area willing to partner with us to save this guy’s life we will get him out of the shelter and to the vet asap for care.
