Working on Miss Bailey’s confidence! She is a very timid girl but give her some time and she is full of butt wiggles!!
Bailey will be hanging out at the shelter during some of our open hours to help her be the best girl she can be!
We show you all lots of photos and videos of the fun and enrichment that we provide our dogs during the day. But at night, when we go home to our own families and pets, the dogs are still there...confused, scared, and wanting nothing more than the love they can get from their people. This video absolutely shattered our hearts, and this is only a short snippet of what they feel when we aren't around to love and spoil them.
Valerie is our longest resident, so she has had over 4 months of nights just like what you see here. She's confused, she's scared, and she wants someone to come back so that she's not alone. Our hearts are broken for this sweet girl and for all of our other animals that feel this same way (just not caught on camera).
Valerie is learning to trust people more easily, but she is still very nervous around men. She needs someone who will move at her pace and know that she needs some time before she becomes the cuddle-bug that she has become with us. She thrives when other dogs are around, and she gets a lot of her confidence from watching them. If you think you can be Valerie's new person, submit an application on our website. If your home isn't suitable for her, you can still help her out by spreading the word about her to hopefully reach her new family. We know her family is out there somewhere, and we won't give up on finding them!
Sometimes all an animal needs is someone to sit with them and go at their pace.
Right now, that is Crash.
Crash is shut down and terrified. He can be very vocal when first approaching his kennel and we believe that it is out of fear.
His whole entire world got turned upside down. He’s in a very stressful environment so we don’t blame him for his feelings.
All we can offer is our comfort for him. To show him that we will go at his pace.
Even if it baby steps of earning his trust, we will be here every step of the way.
Crash is available for adoption and would really love an adopter that understands it will take time for him to trust them. Can you be that person for Crash❓
Antonio is living his best life in his foster home and showing everyone his fun-loving personality! He’s discovered how much he LOVES playing in the snow and has even started getting the zoomies with his furry friends! Stay safe and stay warm friends!
